Hang in there dude. Nothing stays low forever. Our time is near. Momentum should be here soon as Exploitation Licence is granted. That should swiftly follow up in my view with Farm-In deal either with PetroChina (front runner) or another Oil major.

Management having now secured a decent Qty of shares, obviously have a vested interest in much higher price in coming months & years.

I am actually much more chilled and relaxed now having Heron-1 discovery in our books, with lot more to come. Price can Zooooommmmm back to 20-25p in a short time frame with further positive drill results and strong momentum.

My own guess... he is most likely Political Analyst.

I was simply disputing his theory, "because it's an election year, not much might get done"...

On the contrary, lot more might get done before elections. Domestic oil production would benefit Mongolia as a whole. Current sitting Govt would want to show progress under their Tenure, going into elections. Otherwise Opposition would pick on that and promise faster action once they get into power, making this sitting Govt look slack. That is politics...each side would want to score points during their election campaign.

It's good to have a debate, each giving their own assessment.

Mongolian Govt. Is as keen as MATD to get oil flowing ASAP.

Exploitation licence is granted for 25 years, renewable for another 25 years. Mere formality, in my view, been quite a few weeks already. Would not be surprised if Exploitation licence is granted in Jan 2020.

Even more important for Govt to get this show on the road in an Election year. Lot of votes can be grabbed by sitting Govt as they deliver on the 'Domestic Oil discovery' by a local Mongolian oil company.

In answer to someone point about domestic feed stock for the upcoming oil refinery, Petrovis would be very happy to maintain the FULL supply chain, from crude oil to refined product feeding their Petrol stations, throughout Mongolia. Instead of paying far more for Russian Oil imports. Govt would save over $2Billion in import bill. So things should move much quicker in my opinion than the picture you painted. You might be knowledgable person, like Oilfated, but that's your own assessment..not fact?

Management has had Salary Freeze for a while now.

Company's way of providing incentive to management to Deliver results in future.

I would change the order:

1. Exploitation Licence
2. FARM IN
3. Production from HERON to truck to China
4. GAZELLE - follow up.
5. HERON 2,3,4.....
6. Getting ready for FOX and VELOCIRAPTOR (Block V)

Block V drill targets are 200 MMBO each and then some.

I think we might start Jan with 4p...and then on Upward trajectory for 2020.

We know recovery factor of 15% was too low.

More like closer to 50%....results came much higher than management expectations.

Think time is right to add few more at basement prices. In my opinion the bottom is in, and January could see a nice rise from current bargain basement price levels.

I know lot of folks watching this like a Hawk...just hoping to get in right at the lows.

Could we see a rise like we saw in Jan- Feb 2017...may be. You never know. Anything is possible on AIM, as seen with other stocks.

No issues with current land permissions as far as I can see.

Could be the additional land the company might be looking to acquire, to set up full scale production and further drills around prospective areas on top of current land acreage.

Agree, not material in my view. Central Govt would flex their muscles and get this sorted soon just like last time. They want production to start ASAP.

On a serious note...
They had similar issue before Heron spud, with confusion between provincial and Central Govt which was later sorted out within a short time frame.

Think it could be similar stuff, where local governor trying to squeeze few extra quid out of them. Central Govt is the overall authority. Provincial Governments might be complaining about correct protocols not followed in respect of land permissions ???

Could it be that MATD want to expand their land acreage to include even more prospective areas around Heron. Hence extra land permission required to cover say 30-40 drills by Petrochina who might have pointed this to MATD. Just my view of things unfolding in the background possibly. That would make perfect sense in my opinion.
