Still long way to go. Best thing would be to just hold it for next 1-3 years whatever your timeframe is. Should do very well on a medium to long term hold ignoring daily and weekly fluctuations. Imo

This could really come alive in coming weeks on any hint of a Deal news being done. As we all know, AIM moves are sometimes unpredictable and out of no where.

6c a barrel does NOT reflect true value here for our share in Barryroe ???.....not even close. LOGP seems to be extremely Undervaued. IMO

In my opinion MMs always take us for a free ride. Then bring it back to placing price after their shenanigans cashing in on fear mongering.

We could see some action here in coming months ahead of a deal being done.

Think you might be a little too negative here. Yes Art is not the best when it comes to presentations & interview as he lacks the Charisma that other CEOs display. I think things should stabilize over coming days n weeks.

.that is standard wording added to any such finance deal announcement across AIM. Nothing unusual there in my view.

Think when the dust settles and Exploitation licence is granted, we should be sitting at 'Multiples' of this crazy low price, especially after discovering good quality oil at Heron.

No of shares is still low compared to other unsuccessful AIM Oilers with Billions of shares in issue. So when things get back on track, the upward move in price here could be swift IMO.

Looks like some folks taking positions and others averaging down. We been sitting at these lows far too long. MATD has been one of the laggards. Folks would start to rotate around their positions coz when these laggards start to move, lot of people jump in for fear of missing out.

Nice day though, hopefully with many more to come. Happy to wait to see this company mature into a much bigger entity. Once that licence comes in, it open a much bigger and stable cashflow stream.

Barry roe on track for realisation of the massive potential about to be unlocked.

In my view all the "Laggards" should out perform others in 2nd half of 2020 and then even more so in 2021 once oil price is back to over $50 a barrel. Potential % upside here could be massive. Time to nibble and accumulate is when its quiet, not when the herd arrives. IMHO

Well 3 years ago, this raced from 3p to 35p in 8 weeks on speculation when we had not discovered oil.

Now we found oil at Heron. Gazelle should see follow through on that major trap they want to look into.

With more shares in issue now than in 2017, if the company ticks all the boxes from here on, then we could have a stellar run for the rest of 2020, starting with Exploitation licence and resuming drilling at Heron 1, 2,3....and so forth before even revisiting Gazelle mega potential.

For ones already in it would get the Lions share, the ones sitting on the fence would just have to jump in at prevailing market price when this ship turns around soon after the Anchor is lifted and we set back on course to our destination.

That is an interesting option...may be offer a certain % of their OPL226 licence to EM as a sweetener and let them in OR as an out of court settlement to settle this issue quickly so ALL parties can get on with actually putting this show on the road.

Surely EM want a piece of the cake here. May be somebody can suggest this idea to ART via email as one potential solution. Better to pay off EM and save time, instead of dragging on with court case and lose time which could be spent otherwise in getting finance and production sorted much sooner once court case is dropped in my opinion.

Let me know if I'm off track here, but makes good sense to me. Better to dilute your % ownership of OPL226 licence Vs driving company to nowhere in next 12 months. We could be producing oil in 2021 when oil demand / supply equation should have sorted itself out IMO.

Current price seems rock bottom and at the lows, so upside on positive developments could be absolutely phenomenal.

Little more patience needed to get back to pre-COVID19 days and to start moving forward towards normality.

never say never. Just need to sort out some noise first. Lawsuit seems pointless. They trying their last shot.. Copl price at peanuts. Hopefully Art been working in the background before disclosing his next move.

During Exxon days, price was over 10p, before the failed drill knocked the price down to around 2p. Since then its been a gradual decline to current levels. So upside here if things gets sorted would be good few thousand %...

Small punt here, could yield amazing returns. Every AIM investment has a certain element of risk....hence risk / reward case from current price looks pretty awesome to me.

Just a waiting game for things to settle down and get back to some normality as things were before Covid19.

1. China slowly getting back to normal.
2. Oil supply / demand issue will sort itself out like in past

3. Mongolian Govt. wants to move ahead with Domestic oil production and moving away from Russian oil imports.

4. Get elections out of the way.
5. PetroMatad focusing on Block XX and Block V later.

6. Block IV - think giving back Block IV seemed sensible thing to do to remove extra costs & future capital commitments.

7. Exploitation License should come through eventually. I think COVID19 changed and delayed things globally across ALL industries.

8. Market has already dropped this to current lows and pricing in Funding which wont be a bad thing at all. In fact this could rocket ahead once that uncertainty is removed. MATD discovered oil for goodness sake. Current Mcap reflects just pennies per each barrel of Oil vs $ per barrel valuation.

We already at the lows. So upside looks pretty amazing once things are sorted.
