I think we've seen a small gain - perhaps back to Jan 2025 levels - maybe even slightly more. But that's unlikely to pay for the compressor itself.

Since they never said what the compressor was going to do (and "experts" like Malcy and Zak never asked) we have no idea if it met their expectations (unlikely) or was the final straw that brought on suspension

That's because it fell to almost zero for three days OTM - it has then come back to where it was the week before. It's only "great news" if you really thought it had suddenly stopped for all time - is that something that your "sources" had told you?

Wrong - volumes this last week show 3 days with hardly any production (no doubt maintenance) and a couple of days much the same as the levels the week before.

There is no sign of an increase in production.

I understand all the data is available from FIG/UK Govt in electronic form. Not sure how much you pay for it but Navitas will have it for sure. They've been insisting on that for 30 years

Like all technology it works well - until it doesn't. Silver Bullets in oil & gas have, again, a chequered record. The issue is almost always in the (often hidden or unknown) assumptions in the technique (s).

Data isn't a problem in Oil & gas - they've always been one of the biggest generators of numerical data on the planet (historically the biggest computing tasks were code breaking, aerodynamic modeling, seismic processing and weather forecasting).

AI will certainly help in sorting through the data - the issue tho' is that that actually creates an oil field is imperfectly understood - there are a vast amount of variables changing over a couple of hundred million years of time.

AI and automated interpretation have been used for sometime in the oil patch - the results are best described as mixed. The issue is that AI is dependant on a data base of previous results - it doesn't do so well looking for things that aren't already discovered (known unknowns) - such as Guyana or E African Gas. Shell spent a shed load of cash on automated interpretation off E Africa and walked away as it didn't show anything. Others did some thinking and found trillions of cubic feet of gas.

I think XYZ is correct - most of the G&G effort will go into looking at the development wells as they are drilled - there are certain to be surprises - both good and bad - and they'll be having to stay ahead of the drilling team. In the RKH campaign they were getting a shed load of new data every 30-40 days as the wells went down - that's an awful lot to stay on top of.

Probably after they have enough development wells to ensure they can hit their production targets, they'll take a break and drill a couple of exploration/appraisal wells so they can start planning post- Sea Lion developments. Maybe looking at a 4-5 year lead time on the next development.

yes - but what they offer depends on the PRMS reserve classifications

Proven Producing - they might lend on 50% of the value

Probable Proven (ie non-producing) 10% of the value

Possible proven 5% of the value

Contingent & Prospective Resources are seen as rank exploration - they might invest in you but they won't lend for it

The limits are normally set at Main Board level in the Banks

The latest NSAI Report for Navitas has the main field categorised as "2C Contingent Resources (Development Pending)" which means you won't get much.

That will change after the investment decision and Govt approval. RKH need to be able to show enough funding before that to get the Govt to approve it.

They're probably waiting for their invoice to clear before pulling the trigger
