I doubt Beacon are interested in a small interest in the Falklands - they have a major, operated position in the GoM and nothing international. That's their whole basis. If they did go international my guess would by Guyana or maybe Namibia where they they can operate.

The price may stay in this range until the 27th or shortly after but we're all set for a good set of news driven jumps far north of here for the rest of the year.

Placing sellers will likely hold the price down for this short period.....some may sell stock now at the higher price to then replenish their holding with placing shares at only 0.05p

AFAIK the only onshore operator who publishes any data is Star. In the presentation of their 2024 results they reckoned it was costing them £ 42 per boe in CAPEX.

The 2023 CPR estimated costs at around £ 325,000 a month for Q2 2024
