Sorry just posted the results - I'd say that there is no apparent improvement due to the compressor yet. At best they 're back to Feb/March levels.

Of course they never told us what the compressor was actually supposed to do so its hard to see just how bad things are.

There is still a chance it might work - but the odds are getting longer. They have to pay for all the tweaking and adjustments as well of course. I'm sure BP would have been able to inform us as to that metric.

It's still somewhat early but it doesn't like the compressor is achieving much

In March they averaged 0.1172 mcm a day - max day was 0.1256 mcm

So far in May (24 days) they're averaging 0.1111 mcm a day - max day was 0.1363 mcm

And oil & gas Tax losses are subject to fairly tough ring fencing rules IIRC - they certainly couldn't be used to offset inherited foreign tax losses the way it reads

They are being pressed to cough up cash on Monday. It seems they don't have it so have to cut a deal with someone. They've found some mystery player in the GoM offshore who wants a UK listing (why for Gods sake?) - whoever buys in will have to provide cash to pay the loans. They will want a shed load of shares and control and they will not be interested in a tiny onshore UK gas field which is encumbered by debt and restoration costs. They will not be interested in the current shareholders. We will be diluted to hell and back (again).

Since you can get a UK listing on AIM for around £ 1mm they probably value ANGS at less than that - although there may be some timing/delay issues that make it more attractive.

Of course if we're really lucky it'll be Dave Lenigas.

Monday is a Bank Holiday here and in the USA - that can't help when the payment is due on Monday.................... must be spoiling a few people's weekends I guess

So with the buying opportunity at this price to multi bag back to 20p is huge.

With oil rising over $70pb the margin in Turkey and potential production certainly justifies a 20p target price.

Thanks Oofy - I guess Mercuria were happier to let things drift - which may be because they have first call if it all goes wrong. I'll bet they (and people like Mr Forrest) are watching the situation like a hawk.

the other question that occurs is who would "reverse" into ANGS when the first thing you have to do is pay Trafigura a shed load of cash? what do you gain? a small gas field which is proving to be somewhat problematic and which is burdened with a mountain of financing?? Maybe they just want the management.................... :)))))

I'd suspect the payment to Charnia was for actual technical work done by Graham Bull

It happened in 2017 on far less potential and assets. Ran to 10p in a few weeks from sub 1p.

What people are forgetting is that all this business about suspension and an RTO doesn't matter.

The critical thing is that so far Trafigura haven't changed their mind - they expect payment on 26th - next Monday. If that payment is not made then ANGS are in default. I'd assume that a substantial portion of the "assets" have been pledged against the loan. It could turn ugly when everyone who is owed cash wades in to try & protect their share. :((((((((
