the facts are the facts - and to suggest that thing like the amount of water produced is mis-reported just shows how little you know about the production process offshore UK.

CPR's are an OPINION based on those facts. A serious player such as ERCE isn't going to bend the facts that go into that opinion - but you can have different opinions of future forecasts. None of them are wrong at the time - they're a prediction. The old BoD took a very negative view at a time of much lower oil prices, the new BoD seems to take different view.

My bet is that any new CPR won't change the reservoir facts or production rate levels - but it will be more optimistic as the price of oil is higher and than means you can push the abandonment decision to the right.

You clearly know zero about how the oil business actually works - there are far too many people at a load of companies who know exactly what the production is - the guys offshore, the tanker companies, the refineries, the buyers..... literally hundreds of people

none of these was on the Board and none have any interest in being hung out to dry by falsifying any numbers. Anything dodgy and there' d have been a leak to the P&J in Aberdeen or the FT - or in on of the many bars of NE Scotland
