I suspect KM was happy to sit at UKOG until his mining interests started to improve - and it must be getting harder and harder to raise money for this outfit - so time to slide out quietly before anything untoward occurs on the CV.

The new guy is probably going to replace Morzaria on the Board in 12 months or so - KM is sliding out after 10 years of raising millions and going off to his mining outfit - which, if you look at his background, is probably where he'll be happiest. All the real power stays in the hands of SS - which tells you what he's worried about

Looking back it's clear that Turkey was a knee jerk reaction by UKOG - they took the deal (presumably brought to them by XODUS) so they'd have something to announce . There is no evidence that it was thought through - no other acreage has been acquired, no Turkey expert has joined them.

Regretfully I expect another "transformational" deal of a similar type but elsewhere will be on the cards in 2022. I'm sure our Chairman has a in tray of wonderful prospects in Texas...............
