If they have to pay they won't "refuse" to pay - but ANY payment from the Italian State is like pulling teeth - they'll say they have no funds budgeted this year but they'll put it in next years budget, they'll shuffle paperwork between the Ministry for Energy, the Ministry of Finance, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry for Justice, someones grand-mother, Silvio Berlusconi and the Tooth Fairy to see whose budget it comes out of, then they'll go over RKH like with a fine toothcomb trying to prove the possibility of money-laundering, embezzlement , fraud..... and then they'll involve the EU.

And all the time they'll assure everyone that they WILL pay

Someone complaining about the same lack of news on UKOG - and the answer is the same

UKOG have 2 current assets - they control neither. One is run by a company that only puts out news when its REAL news (EDR) and there is nothing happening at WN - except the bills coming in

Think you are right HITS - even ANGS can figure out when the cash to pay their salaries will run out so they plana few months in advance

there is no news - UKOG currently have only 1 active operation over which they have any control - HH. They refuse to update us so the last news was Augusts OGA figures released last week. We probably won't hear anything until they release the next numbers in January.

Approval of any work at HH and anything at Loxley, IoW etc are not in their hands so they can't do anything

Turkey isn't in their hands and they have no control over the seismic crew, or re-starting drilling

They may be looking at new ventures in the USA, they may need more money - but we won't hear about either until they are done deals.
The constant demand for "news" is a really bad AIM habit - look at EDR - they are well run and push out an RNS about every 3 months...........

If the Govt of Italy ends up having to pay RKH a lot of money one thing you can GUARANTEE is that it will take years to arrive.

I could see a well heeled group taking over RKH just for that money - but they'd have to fund serious court proceedings to attach Italian National Assets overseas to do it - and that takes time and deep pockets. Look at cases involving Argentina & India for a guideline. We'll all be dead by then

It was absolutely outrageous - a lot of people kept pointing out that they'd never mentioned a time period for the "test" - it should be an AIM rule IMHO

If any professional operators are short, then they will need to reverse their books - lots of good things on the short-term horizon here.

The EA and the OGA never look at the running costs of any oil company - they may ask for assurances on abandonment liability but in this case that will be part of the £ 12 mm which was supposed to make ANGS "fully funded"

Most of you are probably aware of the fabulous pump and dump this week over there.

Twitter rumour from "Lady of Aim" that someone was in discussions to buy them out.. Massive ramp fest by the usual suspects (many on here) - then a raise to cover salaries etc - they couldn't even reach their target of £800k but I'm sure a some people got burned....

Don't think Panther is ramper - sounds like someone in the industry - generally very measured and clearly does a lot of real technical homework on sites like the BGS, OGA, geophysical Library etc

LSE no doubt make a decent living from the ads posted alongside our wise and informative discussions - to do this they need metrics showing they're very active and reaching many many people

they never tell the advertisers that 50% of them are Adrian

They have little interest in policing the board - they're not the only outfit - several BB's I post on (non investing ones) have the same attitude
