almost every company that starts Onshore UK finishes up "moving away" - over the years Northern, Europa, Celtique, UKOG, Tullow,..... it's far easier to find oil and make money somewhere else

or Broadford Bridge - or Turkey..............

the worst case of that was ANGS at Brockham where they quoted instantaneous high rates for years - it seems the rates were for about 20 minutes IIRC. and then they pulled the next test at the last moment

Not true - some of his disguises have run for quite some time - it's when he starts posting rubbish non-stop, then attacks people for things he's done himself (like objecting to the EA) and generally becomes incoherent and abusive.

We all know he has real problems and only lives through the board - it's very sad but when he gets out of control he has to go.

1) Will HH1 be put back onto Kimmeridge production? Unlikely - it will cost more than they can make from the Kimm
2) If HH1 was put onto Kimmeridge, then it may still be dry oil with no water cut? Probably - until they exhaust the fractures and then its back to very low rates
3) Dry oil = no water treatment/disposal costs = less impact on profit? But low overall volumes
4) How long since HH1 was on Kimmeridge? -?2 years?
5) Would Kimmeridge pressure be decent if it's been shut-in for ~2 years? Unknown - I don't think anyone understands the kim at all - probably local recharge of fractures from the surrounding source rock tho - but no idea if that will replace what they've already got out
6) Will HH3 ever get drilled? No
7) Why would UKOG not switch to pure Kimmeridge production whilst waiting for a permit to convert HH2z into an injector? Cost of the intervention, you'd be risking the Portland production which is low but certain against an expensive workover with no guarantees of higher rates
8) Why did UKOG not drill HH2 to the Kimmeridge and then log/analyse as per their original intention? They had all the kit on site and it would have not been ridiculously expensive. Lack of money I suspect - they were really hurting then.
9) How can UKOG stake a claim to drill a further side-track at BB (and thus avoid abandonment costs) if they passed on the opportunity to drill HH2 into the Kim to log/analyse? They can't - they're just delaying the cost of restoring the site and the loss of face

You mean they PLAN to produce 5.5 mmscfd- the point is that they may need the sidetrack if the reservoir doesn't perform - and if they find that out next spring it'll be too late to drill and complete the s/t before they have to provide volumes under the hedge.

Without access to the pressure data, the reservoir model and the geological model that's a big ask. Egdon were carrying 2P of 0.62 mm bbl and 2C of 1.53 mmbbl Gross - say starting at 800 bpd and declining that's around 4 -6 years for the 2P or up to 10 years for the 2C

I use the same conversion each month - but I don't always change the days from 30 to 31 - it's such a small variation I can't be bothered......

Field over 17 months is showing a small overall decline now and water cut is pretty steady at around 30% - a typical onshore UK field now

I use 7.46 bbls per tonne which is the API conversion for 35 degree oil
