You don't have to see conspiracy - I think they've spent years and years peddling the FI narrative, they thought they'd succeded with Premier etc etc and its been slog, slog , slog for a decade. And the pitying smiles of their peers at any industry do. Now they've cut a deal, it's going ahead, they don't have to do a single thing and they (and the shareholders) are actually seeing some value after 16 years. I think they're just knackered.

Just as an update, unsurprisingly, I have received no response or even an acknowledgement to the message I sent to ANGS on 03/09 via the contact page on their shiny new website. So much for the CEO's pledge that "We are committed to improving communications with all our stakeholders...."

I suppose a PI does not qualify as a stakeholder in their eyes

they could ask ANGS why they 're still suspended - and tell them to they're lifting the suspension unless they get a believable answer - but PPP have got away with murder for much longer. We've never been updated about the so-called RTO, nor any of the terms of the refinacing. We don't know exactly how much they owe nor to who. They've haven't even told us what production forecast they have post the workover, nor what it will cost. We 've no idea what has happened to the CEO. Where would the money come from for a B&S deal? They've raised money for SeaLion, they're in hock to Navitas until they pay off the carry. - I don't think that either the new investors or Navitas would be very happy about seeing RKH swan off to an area where any prodcution is 20 years away.

Give that the biggest threat to the Labour Party is the Greens (as the Tories have to worry about Reform) then he 's strong card in that game. Well AI got that right (I think it might be the Intern at work). But what it doesn't say is that there is any incentive to protect the shareholders - they takeover the production and repayment and we get nothing

My guess is that NAV would be happy to have a decent, industy respected 35% partner who is paying their way and relieving them of the need to cover costs as they will be doing for RKH & JHI

he's been perfectly clear - Trafigura will take over, not necesarily in name, but in practise, and use the debt on their own balance sheet and the ANGS price will be zero as PI's are completley stuffed once again.

Actually it doesn't. Oil companies are buying and selling interests all the time and they are well versed in the procedures. The New guys provide all their contact details and who will be sitting on which committees and vice versa. It's such a small business, people-wise, that they probably are all known, at least by reputation, to each other. The good thing is that the new guys WANT to be in and WANT it to be a success - as opposed to the seller who has decided to exit. Also they'll just have come out of a detailed due diligence revue and will be totally up to date with all the issues.

And of course it'll never catch anyone with any brains - 99% of Market abuse is carried out by financial professionals off the record, in phone calls, over lunches, in bars & clubs, on the goldf course.

Best play would be extract themselves from the US ( no drill permits in place) and sell up. Egdon will not want an unknown entity as a new partner on Wressle so will likely cough up a fair price.
