" for your information commencement of drilling amd first oil (from any phase) don't happen at the same time."
Not for Phase 1 of course but in phase 2 that's what they're planning - read the EIS - Page 133 - they talk about SIMOPS - SImultaneous Operation - see below. •Simultaneous drilling and production operations – SIMOPS (Section 5.7),
I thought you should know.......
Stage 2b –SIMOPS, Production alongside drilling and construction of up to 12 Phase 2 wells:
• Use of the onshore supply base, liquid mud plant and TDF,
• Anchoring of LTVs in Berkeley Sound and associated vessel traffic to support the Stage 2b Subsea construction campaign (for a non-consecutive
total of 13 months over Stages 1, 2a, interim Stage 3, and Stage 2b),
• Drilling and completion of 12 Phase 2 wells from a MODU:
• Flow-back of the OP and GI wells to the FPSO:
o Overall contingency for four well tests to the MODU with flaring.
• Installation of the remaining subsea production infrastructure (e.g. X-mas trees, jumpers, hydraulic and electric flying leads),
• Production Operations of all subsea wells controlled from the FPSO,
• Direct offtake (offload) of crude from the FPSO to the purchaser’s CTT,
• Use of supply vessels and ERRV on standby to support operations both in the field and offshore, construction vessels at the LTV mooring location
in Berkeley Sound, and
• Use of fixed-wing aircraft, road transport, vessels and helicopters throughout. Stage 3 - Ongoing Steady State production for Fi
