As to the effect of dividend, sorry but it can go any way. Sometimes sp rises in advance of divi and then falls after. But ujo sp goes anywhere anytime, so expect only the rise, only the fall, or anything. The only certainty (?) is it will defy logic. Still, cheer up you & good luck all.

Agree most know the buy/sell label isn't always accurate, although it is most often so. Sometimes you can guess innacuracies from a sequence of trades, or as in this case first-hand knowledge.
