Chitty, a lot of share investors treat PBs with derision, but for my money they're a good deal. Never had a big prize but the dribble of cash pays for a few drinks. Crucially, you need some capital which gives no loss if required unexpectedly, and they repay in a few days.

Our original gas stations in early 70s were just the cegb burning gas in stations built for coal. Thermal stations, with boilers and steam turbines. Later it was found that generation from gas turbines (like jet engines) was more efficient, since they did not require fuelling hours before the demand peak: gas also has a smaller carbon component than coal has.

Imo all the more reason to get Wressle gas to grid, one way or the other.
