I just posted sth about it on reddit and now see both your posts ... natgas prices for summer 2022 are up 100% in the last 4 weeks and that definitely makes a difference for HBR as no matter if Tolmount comes online February or March or April... prices will be nice

And as for "sanctioned": we all make mistakes and its nice someone admits a misunderstanding. No need to laugh. We´re all not perfect. Both of us included.

@LuckCounts I have given you the exact time of the webcast where Linda says the presentation is NOT correct. Please dont ignore this as I reviewed the webcast after your post especially to give you the exact times. It´s just 2 times one minute you ll have to click in and you´ll see that. The presentation is made by IR and obviously it was a misunderstanding between management and IR which can happen. And as you say it well: it doesnt really matter as dividends of around 4% are ok and the rest of the free cash flow can and will be used wisely - be it for debt reduction or M&A.

HC, you misunderstood the word "sanctioned". It means that the project (Tolmount East) was given regulatory approval = positive news. Ah and just one further comment @Harrycash - I normally dont read your comments. Not because I dont like you etc, but because they often contain negativity, be it grumbling, fighting with users etc. I know you are not being treated nicely here as well some times and you will say: I only answer to those. But it just doesnt make your posts a nice read. In these times: 20% loss in 2 days, days before Christmas, covid, one can see the character of people and the last thing we need here is people losing their nerves and their politeness. And politeness is easy to show with people you like ... but harder with people you dont. So maybe you write your opinion about things with a little less emotionality? Have a good weekend! well.... my explanation for this would be either they underestimated it themselves. Or they thought they could fix it until year and and wouldnt have to come out fully transparent about all the faults, but just say "hey, Tolmount´s online". OR the story is only partly true in itself and just a pretext for other problems. My personal guess is that they were (and are?) in negotiotions with Dana to buy part of Tolmount and hence wanted finish the three wells to have a good estimate about its reserves before they start production, as most of Tolmounts production will be delivered in the first 8 months. So maybe they´ll now re-negotiate with Dana, offer a much lower price due to 25-50% lower reserves and then bring it online ..

@shal1000 yes, I also remember that number and that she added that it would be about neutral. So I guess that might be the result we´re getting on this: what Linda already announced.
Same btw with Linda´s prediction in April that the share price might be subdued during the tim the creditors sell. And that this period will be temporary. That´s what I like with people and Linda is one of them: IF you make a prediction, it should be clear, transparent and not over-optimistic.

guess they dont get anything, but also dont pay any contractual damages. Remember thats about what Linda said in September, that they might have to pay sth or receive sth, but that if they d have to pay damages it wouldn´t be a considerable amount. So now they pay nothing aparently. Guess this will be made clear to everyone tomorrow. I personally dont see any damages as the Israelis (Navitas) take over and take the operatorship once Sea Lion is on. So yes - a clear cut and good news.
