Can´t believe I m the only one on this board who actually took the time to listen to Phil.

Many of you must spend hours in front of your screen every day posting comments etc etc and now some of you complain that the info isn´t just delivered right in front of your door, blaming others for it (IR, management,...) instead of checking out if its not you who now again spends time here writing and hasnt had the time yesterday at 6pm ...

There are reasons for some being successful in life and others not so much. One of them is wasting time and not concentrating on important things.

As some post useful stuff, I ll switch to read-only mode on this board.

@Jefff I sent the link to the conference twice on this board and mentioned and reminded everyone here at least 4 times about the upcoming speech.
It was yesterday at 6pm and lasted about 45 minutes, full of Q&A about HBR´s carbon capture programmes.
If you guys concentrate on putting nonsense on this chat (and I do not mean you, @Jefff), use the board as a room to dump or pump and not listen to any useful information, I say: do your own due diligence.

And if you dont get the info published and the news published, ignoring the CEO Europe speaking and several informations about it... ask yourself how serious an investor you are.

As for you, @Jefff I posted the link, dont know if it still works and if the speech is still available. Up to you to find out.

One of the interesting thing in the speech were the slides about HBR shown at the beginning. Containing some new numbers.

guys, you dont get it that many here are being payed opinion-makers. @oil is one of them, otherwise he would just DO what he says: sell and go elsewhere and not spend time to try to convince other people from his so-called wisdom, because he is Mother Theresa....
Don´t even argue with these guys. It´s sad that LSE is full of these people, but thats the way it is. Shorters and commercial investors have well noticed that bullboards serve to influence retail investors, especially when they want someone to sell shares to them.

well thank god that neither BP nor HBR management will listen to this board :) BP CEO does what he thinks is best, so do Linda and Phil. The result might be: both managements might be right, but in different timeframes. Green energy certainly has a future. But there´s still a lot of money to be earned in oil and gas.

Note Phil Kirk´s speech this Thursday. He skipped the appearance in Edinbourgh, so its only his pre-registered speech everyone can watch online and no drinks, snacks and chat in the club afterwards with him. So expect not too much news.
Further has anyone noticed that HBR skipped its November trading update? Well: it´s not on the financial calendar anymore since HBR decided to hold their CMD 9th of December.
The current silence is great. Love it. Its golden - and those who think a little - know why.

HC good to read then :) have a good day. As for China you´re spot on. As for HBR you´re too pessimistic imo. General stock markets and real estate are overvalued, but it wouldnt be the first time in history to see 10 years of stagflation with commodities rising so things all interdepend, but as oil doesnt necessarily rise when tech or crypto goes up, its the same for the contrary: oil and gas may rise - and commodities rising may be one of the many reasons for general stock markets to go down or "being held up" by central banks in the next years = stagflation.
