Fundraise at 7am...maybe not then....

Strange SP action this afternoon - despite constant buying from just after 10am through to close the SP actually moved down in the afternoon as a result of a tightening of the spread to an unusually tight 0.1p. Given this unusual situation I'm wondering if we are going to see a fundraise announced at 7am tomorrow at 8p (rapid book build - close at end of day) ????

I'm very pleased the Avidimab arrangement is non-exclusive as this means we can now establish similar agreements with some of the many many other MAB companies. Given how quickly this first agreement came about I would hope that more will follow fairly soon which, IMO, would give a boost to the SP as it shows the potential market for this platform and it would also lead to the possibility that we will have a flow of cash bearing deals in 12 months time (I guess if it works for one company's MABs it is highly likely to work for many).

It is very reassuring that Biotech are persisting with the work despite the apparent complexities to be overcome and the significant time/effort involved - they must surely see some decent potential in this otherwise I'm sure that they would now be spending their time and effort elsewhere.

Could somebody point me at the announcement of the extension to the Biotech collaboration as I can't find it (I note also that the original announcement of the collaboration did not actually state an end date). I can find an announcement of an extension to the collaboration with the Karolinska Institute, but nothing relating to a Biontech extension. Many thanks.

IMO as soon as there is any evidence that Moditope works in humans my bet is that Biotech will be looking to make a deal. So as you indicate, the question is when will we see the first results which will show, one way or the other, that Moditope works ?

I suspect that CRUK maybe viewed the project as too high risk. CRUK probably wouldn't want to make an aware to a project where there is a risk of early setback and given that Moditope is not yet proven in humans that risk is there for this project. Clearly they believe in what Lindy has achieved so far and the potential for Moditope, hence the shortlisting, but maybe in this case the risk was just too great for them to make an award at this stage.

Am I right in thinking that the announcement was due just after midnight ?

I'm watching the CRUK twitter feed as I guess they will be posted on there ??
