Carrefour shares fell 14 percent, set for their worst daily dive in 20 years, after the French supermarket chain warned 2017 profit could fall by 12 percent and cut its sales growth target. TSCO SBRY & MRW slightly down today despite FTSE up.

But I wonder why the sudden rise today as I cannot see any specific news.

Make hay whilst the sun shines. I have no doubt this share will break £2 in the not too distant future, However at this price, I am starting to unload a few. I am sure there will be times to buy back cheaper too!

Finger on the buy button this morning at 174p....hesitated and then left it alone. Get it right one day!

james, Spar would pay wholesale price similar to that of Sainsbury If they make a profit on their £1 coke , sainsburys will have to sell far fewer bottles to make the same amount of profit. Whilst the same bottles of coke leave the shelves in both stores...who is doing better?

Carillions announcement not good for the sector but good value to be had here IMHO

Slipped on the back of Carillons announcement. Good time to buy in for me.

I think 1.4p or below will be a good entry price. Will ponder over the weekend with a view to buying on Monday

Riggers, Yes, if you bought Wednesday you would get the 6.6p divi. If you bought today you don't. Hence the share price will drop to take this into account. So the overall drop today is 0.8p rather than 7.4p.

Riggers, It's gone ex divi today.

Will see a drop on Thursday

Bought on Wednesday and then topped up on the lows yesterday. So overall in with a good profit. Will hold for the divi.

Worth a punt at 2.63, if not just for the divi.

It was 320p and went to 321.6p sorry for typo. Get your point but don't particularly want to hold KGF for long, just wanted a quick in and out profit.

Ready to purchase and was undecided at £3.20 hovered and waited for a lower price. Now £321.6, another time perhaps. Will have another look later today.

Kingfisher plc announces that on 22nd March 2017 it purchased 600,000 shares for cancellation.

Hitting a 6 month low. Time to buy ?
