Can't see we will get any movement in the sp if todays volume of transactions becomes the norm.
Only one buy today....however twice as many shares bought than sold. (glass half full)
Something went wrong with my copy and paste. It was meant to be.....
Implementing a share option scheme to attract, retain and motivate new and current employees
Strategic acquisitions
Requesting shareholder permission by way of an EGM to use free cash for a share buy-back program
Within the recent results statement was this snippit :
With the return to profitability, the Directors are reviewing a number of initiatives to support the continued growth of the Group and the value created is reflected in the share price. These include:
·      Implementing a share option scheme to attract, retain and motivate new and current employees
·      Strategic acquisitions
·      Requesting shareholder permission by way of an EGM to use free cash for a share buy-back program .
So doubtful we will get Director buys if there is a share option scheme put in place.
A share buy back program will hopefully be put in place, which is bound to help the share price.
Acquisitions....not sure about...but if it helps with profitability, why not.
I am surprised that there wasn't as much buying today. If there is a little more media coverage that may encourage new buyers. Directors may decide to buy...not sure where we are in the accounting cycle, as there are restrictions when they can buy. Having said that they will probably get shares through incentive schemes anyway.
Just done another dummy trade for 100,000 shares and 1.25p is still available. Might consider another buy. Surprised how easy these are to buy given today's results.
Been watching this share for a while. Results look good, so reason to be optimistic. So, finally bought in this morning. Got 1.255p...went to buy more and than could get a slightly better price of 1.25p. Not a big difference. Hopefully there will be enthusiasm for this share at some stage.
I agree, I find more and more share prices are being deliberately distorted after reasonable results. I am having to learn new ways of buying and selling to accommodate this.
Like-for-like sales over the first six months are up a forecast-beating 3 per cent: analysts had pencilled in a 2.6 per cent rise. Underlying pre-tax profits are a fraction higher than the City expected at £177 million.
GNK my best performing share atm, that's how bad it is.
From my two purchases @562p & 540p, I am just ahead. Looking to keep some or all anyway for the good divi.
