Rugs, Hope the rise this morning helps. This is against the overall FTSE100 trend. Most of my shares are down this morning.

However up 2.3% on the day and FTSE100 is slightly down.

WTB downgraded by Citigroup from buy to sell...doesn't think there will be Costa growth after 4-5 years. I think there is growth potential and predicting what will happen in 4-5 years is very tricky. Happy with my investment here.

Pull your socks up...we can go blue today.

More of a backlash from the Greene King announcement (perhaps) has sent WTB down 3% this morning.

The placing is at 590p, so buying at 575p might get you a small profit, not immediately but sometime soon perhaps.

Whitbread down a lot too this morning.

Nearly sold at peak on Friday but decided to hold. Good price at £5.42 but do I want more of these shares ? If I do I may need to sell something else, but not sure what.

Thought it was a steal at £11.25. Now a hold for good divi.

May be a slow process but this will be back to £6 by Xmas IMHO. I say more staycations will be good for GNK. Articles this weekend are suggesting that overseas holidays costing more have left households with less disposable income to spend. I suggest both are factors...and may cancel each other out over a financial year.

SBB £6.20 that's a big rise from here! Shorters seem to think differently and unless you have a very big house, I think they can manipulate the share price more than your buys will. I am sure it will rise again, but I may have been slightly optimistic looking for £6.00 in the short term. A share to buy now & tuck away?

A good price at £11.25

FK1, I can only see good things for UK PLC in the leisure/ holiday industry. It will become increasingly expensive to holiday in Europe due to the Euro. Caribbean and Florida may not look as rosey following Irma. So more staycations and leisure time spent here in the UK. Greene King / Whitbread and others will benefit from that. Also it will be cheaper for Europe to come to us and eat and drink in our wonderful pubs.
