Luke, Very often happens that Directors are given share options, so the have to produce a RNS. The amount of shares created for share options is usually too small to effect the share price. As regards the Directors overall holding this will include any companies which he owns which has shares. In this event they are stating his overall holding both personally and through any companies. He already owned ( via his company ) 28%, it just increased slightly. So no boom to follow I'm afraid. Not surprised to see a fall here, as I predicted, I am afraid !

My Share dealing site HSBC has CHOC listed but there are no buys or sells recorded and they cannot give me a price. Not that I am a buyer at all at this price, just curious what the spread would be.

There are a few bargains around, today especially. £4.46 is a good price, but I am looking at other bargains as well. Santa rally has turned into an early Xmas sale !

Yes this will be on my watch list for a long time. I agree there will be problem times for CHOC and good times too. Having missed he best buying opportunity, will just have to bide my time. I would have sold and taken any profit, so would not have been a holder now, even if I had bought.

Bonz, Thanks for that. I was trying to fix up an appointment for the wife to open an account but trying to get the wife and Santander to agree a time slot has not been easy. meanwhile some of my free cash is not earning its keep.

TW, Came back to look at what went on this afternoon. I see it went over £2, that's crazy. Not surprised to see drop back to £1.85. Further falls will occur IMO.

I think the sp has got to £1.90 0n sentiment rather than financial fundamentals. Remember that the placing was at £1.28. Granted I am bitter at not buying in straight away when I should have, however buying in now at this inflated price is pure folly IMO.

John, let us know where you are moving it to. I am struggling to get much more than 1.1% for instant access. Santander have a 123 current account paying 3% but that is only up to £20k...their e-saver is only 1%.

Just read the RNS and placing was at £1.28......so will this fall back from £1.42 ?, think it is likely.

Thought this would do well on the first day. I meant to buy in early but got distracted as my father in law got taken ill. Now I think I will watch and see how this does.Good ethical share from what I have read and growing cocoa back in Peru is a no brainer.

Mike, I got in today at a reasonable cushion to the closing price. Ok it tanked this morning on the bad French sales. You say it will go lower...it may do, but on what basis do you think it will? Myself I will hold at this price, as they are still making reasonable profits and will pay divi's, They will close stores they don't need and revamp others. They are diversified across the world and have a good name for the products they sell. So pick your price... I have.
