The SP hasn't exactly collapsed. 0.76 per share is still around the ish price level of the last few months. The point is that is hasn't exactly bombed and the lack of confirmed production or confirmed non commercial status is up in the air but with news of hooking it up for production.

I sense it will be a gently commercial well, quietly producing but not breaking records, once they start nodding the donkey's head! We will see.....

I have never felt that H2 is a SP game changer. More a gentle reinforcement of the SP perhaps to the 1.25p per share level.

Exploding the drill bit and end pf pipe underground and hopefully fracturing a large reserve in Gazelle would be a very welcome and changing event. That could take us up to 3 to 5p per share.

The Farmout is the deal that should take us up towards 10p per share, as many have already stated.

For me, this is all steady as we go. Still on the path and heading in the right direction with a few interesting surprises yet to be announced!

I am off for a round of golf. Hopefully by mid afternoon the froth will have settled and everyone will have calmed down to the matter in hand.

To me, this is not a bad RNS. Gently moving in the right direction. Gazelle next with the permits obtained for explosive well drilling stimulation works to proceed. H2 not a gusher but the nodding donkey being fitted, thereby probably a gentle commercial well never the less.

All is sunny for me today.

Good news as far as I am concerned.

H2 being hooked up and a tank prepared. Greater oil and gas flows found. Clean up the acid and a proper flow rate to be confirmed once that is pumped out and cleaned up.

Obviously not a gusher, but probably a nice gentle commercially pumping well contributing to the daily extraction total and revenue source. That is how I read this...!

Lots of nonsense I know.

But a reduced income to MATD after sharing the margin of say $18 per barrel, this is still circa $7 million of earnings for MATD just to bleed the system, so to speak. Assuming they supply all of the oil.

I presume it is metered I to the pipe at source and therefore invoiced against that reading immediately it enters the pipe!

Here are some nonsense pondering thoughts....

If the pipeline is 530km long. If every 1 meter would need at least 2 barrels of oil to fill it, then the pipeline would need over 1,000,000 barrels of oil just to fill the pipeline.

Is this a huge James Bond style pipeline or is this a smaller 18 inch diameter pipe?

Any thoughts on this trivia question anybody?

When the RNS drops, there will be a feeding frenzy without much available to buy. The price will rocket up.

This is going to launch and go big.

I also wonder of the Farmout is being sorted quickly. If this drops sooner then we think, then any news regarding H2 or Gazelle or I need Gobi, would be just adding cherry after cherry to the top of the huge cake!

I am HUGELY impressed with her history, experience and highest level of operating. Sunsteppe has thrilling potential due to having her onboard and all credit to MB for forging this business with her and seeing this potential. MATD is lucky to be involved, at the beginning, with a huge potential future.

She is not a local show in as a convenient local presence. Zula is the real deal and the right person with the right experience and contacts to make this the number one renewable energy company on Mongolia and a huge player in Asia too.

Abzzba, MB stated this within the Q&A session somewhere, probably in the presentation part. If you trawl through that presentation you will find it.

It was said by MB specifically, regarding the explosives and the permit application needed for Gazelle and Gobi. I have presumed and put two and two together to conclude that the direction of the horizontal drilling would be in the direction of the migration signs of the oil shows from their earlier drilling. That would seem a logical conclusion assuming they were able to ascertain the direction from their initial drilling results.

I don't know the technology used today. But I would be surprised if they couldn't tell in which direction the oil had migrated from and to.

We will see.

Gazelle was going to be reworked along with an explosive charge being.drilled sideways in the direction of the oil migration, I believe.

MB stated they were waiting for the permit for the explosives, but this was a quick permit to obtain and just a formality taking a week or two at most.

We will see.

Ideal RNS would read:

H2 successfully reworked with very positive results after a natural flow rate of in excess of 250 bpd was recorded. H2 is being immediately commissioned and this work is nearing completion with full operational production due to start by October the first, at the latest.

The 30% retention held by PC has been fully resolved and all payments owing have now been paid and funds received by Petromatad.

The LOI is signed for the Farmout agreement, with the signing of the contract due imminently.

The scheduled work over now moves to Gazelle and will commence immediately. Further updates on this will be forthcoming in 20 days time.

Something like this would be quite welcome!

Played golf with a high end international banker living in Luxembourg just now. I mentioned my fear of soverign currencies and soverign debt piles and whether governments were going to go bust or not. Also that I didn't trust money or governments to uphold currency values.

He confirmed my fears and thought process was correct and this had resulted in gold going high and he felt it would.l continue to rise in value and remain high for at least the next two or three years.

This would only be exacerbated by wars and the unstable world.

I am sure we all know this quietly, but good to have this reinforced from a high level.

I agree and me too, Proquo. I have heavily strengthened my position since the raise was announced. Four times and chunky bits too.

However you read the board and see the very few share transactions and the lack of buzz or interest or real news is a too light, IMO.

We feel we are on the cusp. However, no one seems to be gathering here yet!

Whilst nothing has changed, I sense a diminishing sentiment towards MATD.

The longer the wait for the RNS, the more the fear of a negative show from H2 to make it into a commercial well.

The sentiment towards MATD is frail and fragile. I do hope that MB does not hold things back or wait to build a bigger RNS to present.

IMO, the shareholders are eager to get every small nugget of positive news as soon as it lands. The 30% resolution one day. Hopefully the H2 positive outcome the next. We need this to build the confidence and belief in MATD and prove our very bright future to all, step by tiny step.
