The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Master, I think the RNS was planted to get the bad news out there before the AGM, to try to give MB an easier time next week.
We will see.......
Has anyone noticed the video presentation today above from Clean Tech on this LSE site?
I thought Gordon Stein was a public school!
Have a good day everybody.
Ultimately agree with you WOS. But time is what we have plenty of as soon, tomorrow, any day now, etc seems to be a never ending story at the moment.
Hence the mischief sets in....!
Come on MB, give us another blinder to crush the SP and get it down to under a penny a share.
What about a raise for 1,000,000,000 shares at 0.005 per share. That would do it!
The big burning question now is whether we have an existential threat to MATD or whether there is enough from the renewables to make a business.
MATD doesn't seem to have the sway of power and close access to the ministers.or governors and even after the ambassadors input, we are exactly where we are!
A MB special! His RNS' have such a devastating effect on the SP.
My long post deleted by LSE.
So many of my fears confirmed. I thought MB had stated the money had been paid to the ministry of finance for the herders. It hasn't been.
No mention of operating cash. Probably for the AGM.
This is a mega download of foul stenching news before the AGM. It won't calm the SH anger and frustration.
Oil up today by almost 2.5%. Quite a rise! Why? Anybody??
Is this all fog in Mongolia or are we really going to get the RNS we all want. I am 50/50 on this. I have read a lot more soon's, almost, agreed to, passed by, expected to be starting then....! But not actual hard confirmation of anything absolute with a signed permit. Is this being controlled by the Mongolians wanting to manage the news flows of their good news for the nation, with the state wealth funds to enrich everyone before the election? Or is this just more slow moving mud? We will see, but MB must be very clear that the drilling season is now upon us, and anything short of the full green light with the production date confirmed in the spring/early summer of 2024 (NOW) for the first flows of oil to be pumped, is not acceptable.
Notpleb, we will see what happens here.
Iran reporting this as NOT an attack from outside the country and an internal attack.
Is this the excuse they need not to take further actions and to descale? If so, this would all be shortlived and a lot of testosterone and froth. Let's hope so.
Another RNS without any substantive content. Total torture of so much praise and so little progress.
I appreciate this is a point of order RNS about the AGM, but this is verging on cruel.
The first tranche of share options falls due in May, don't they? If they fail to move the SP up within the next few weeks there is a possibility that the Share Options won't be taken up by the employees- and that would speak volumes!
Well - since you ask, and I am wrong also, I hasten to add, the RNS is on Thursday this week and I will leave this board when the SP hits £1.35 per share. They won't need to raise and there won't be a world war!
How's that for helpful???
I wanted to add to this inane thread :
YOU ARE ALL WRONG - THE LOT OF YOU!
Enjoy!
Thanks, WOS. I don't need to add to my millions of shares in MATD.
I would like the suggested news offered in the last RNS by MB and also supported by your leak from the British Ambassador that the drilling would happen at the start of the season. Nowish! Not before the end of the season!
That's all.
Thanks WOS.
I do disagree. It is like the new locks that are being awarded to Matd. This has been confirmed but will not be actioned until the autumn, after the elections when they can sort the necessary paperwork out.
This is also how I read the situation for the permit to start drilling, but hopefully this will come before the election.
Thanks, Wos.
I do not think this is right. I think they have it passed but not issued. Those are two very different points. That is why MB has stated that they need to be vigilant and keep an eye on the process, because of they don't issue the permit, signed and stamped, they are not authorised to proceed.
That is what I am.concernedt about, the potential bureaucratic delays of the Mongolian system, preventing drilling and work to commence on time and as early as possible.
If you think Matd can proceed regardless, then I would like for MB to state that. But he hasn't.
Thanks, Cybertron, for the two posts.
You have covered my concerns in your posts. The term "once signed" by the Matad District comes with no time frame or certainty as to when.
Plan B is still a battle with the Governor of Dornod, potentially taken on by Central government, which could end up with injuctions and delays. That could also cause huge delays.
This is why the presentation of and the announcement of the permit, as a stamped and approved legal document that has been issued and presented to MATD, is vital.
It will come, and hopefully soon. But elections are coming and we all know how government offices almost cease to operate when elections and.potwntial changes of ministers start to loom. Fingers crossed.
SP could easily drop 50% if there is nothing solid and no permit announced at or before the AGM. If drilling and pimping is delayed in anyway, this will not be well received IMO.
Thanks, WOS.
I would have thought that MB would have to and should state if the permit was issued and in his possession as this would certainly result in confidence and belief that the pumping of revenue will commence. This would materially change the mood and investors appetite for further investment resulting in a sharp increase in the SP.
He would be obligated to announce this immediately. But he hasn't leaving the doubt to creep in.
The RNS due soon has not materialised yet! "By the end of Feb, great, but happy to wait until the end of March. After that concerns creep in" has always been my position here. Allow a 2 week window due to Easter to take us to today. Still no RNS.
The only RNS we have seen are based on agreements at meetings and statements from government deparyments and strongly optimistic statements from MB about commencing commercial operations in the spring. We do not have the required permit issued out of the Mongolian government to do this!!!
Elections are coming in. Every excuse for delays and a go slow or reasons for not issuing the permit until the outcome of the election has happened.
All I have seen is a Mongolian government still building their systems of governance and patting eachother on the back with platitudes, but no real break through or action.
This is starting to creep into an area of growing and alarming concern for me. The RNS will come for sure. But when and how much money has the company got for a lengthy campaign beyond July to get this permit issued????
Mojito - are you sure it wasn't one flew over the cuckoo's nest?
Yes WOS, but an agreement with a hand shake or a nod isn't enough to commence pumping oil, is it?
You can only commence operations if the bureaucracy has functioned and the official permit has been signed, sealed and delivered to authorise MATD to start.
Anything stuck in their system is worrying as delays go on for ever in Mongolia.
I am sure it will happen, but delays and change in leadership that could cause longer delays in issuing the required authorisation is a real concern here.
