They do seem to be setting up for business. Is this going to accelerate and deliver the issuing of the SLP or create another layer of slow processing of official function?

This week is very important. We are starting to near the elections and the risk of government bodies not processing and functioning during this period is starting to be a real risk for further delays.

We need the LP and we need it now so we can start pumping the revenue. No more delays , PLEASE!

There is something annoyingly predictable about an RNS from MATD. It has so often resulted in the SP going down.

I do wish they would get some solid and positive news that will reult in a proven income and a viable business.

I know MB and the team are trying, but here in Spain the mantra of "Why do today what you can do tomorrow" seems to be a positively speedy approach to life compared to Mongolia!

Money raised by borrowing or by issue?

Borrowing becomes easy once you have income and the repayment can be geared against revenues whilst protecting the SP.

Effectively the end of March. A little aware of the time window for the permit to come one way or the other, as I am sure MB is too.

I always felt end of Feb ideal but happy to wait until end of March for the SP or LP to be issued. Also aware of forthcoming elections and other influences that could create postponements and sincerely hope that the permissions are formerly granted within the week or two maximum after Easter. Otherwise, dread and fear will creep in.

Don't eat too much chocolate folks!

Ibiza, my gut feeling has always been 12 to 15p when SLP granted formerly.

30 to 35p when oil and revenue comes in for June/July to August time.

Year end at 60p.

If my understanding is correct, then we will certainly have an RNS this week giving notice of the AGM which has to be before the end of March with a 3 week notice period required.

This may expose a financial position of the company that could be poorly received. We will see.

Fingers crossed there is a good sprinkling of solid news with the formal issuing of the status for the land access and agreements and start dates for pumping oil from Heron 1 and the starting of a rapid drilling program for new wells.

He end of February is in sight, and so should the RNS be!

Is it this week? I hope so. The end of February always felt a little more realistic, with a March RNS still just about acceptable. Elections looming. This will be entering the last chance saloon stage within a couple of weeks more.

MB - "Stand and deliver, Your money or your life" (job!) - as Adam Ant would sing it! Get this RNS out of the seized up and stagnant Mongolian government bureaucracy!

Let's hope there isn't another rail strike! This huge train should deliver the pay load potential we are all expecting.

Will it be soon, shortly, tomorrow or even today, who knows. But it is finally scheduled for arrival and long overdue.

Agree BP. And if they decided to renationalise 51% of PC holding, that would cause a very angry response from China that could easily result in an invasion from them to simply take the rich natural resources tha Mongolia has to offer. As they wish to do with Taiwan.

Seeing the strong SP and warm reception that ARM has received on the NASDAQ, I again wonder whether MATD wouldn't be better placed listed in the US. A more realistic view on oil and a better and less risk averse environment with deeper pockets. London is looking a troubled and unpopular market for shares. I mentioned this about three weeks ago, but the SP uplift of ARM this week is proving my point.

The RNS with the LP news - anytime before the end of February would be great.

Before the end of March at the latest before worry about the Mongolian election creeps in.

It seems to me there is little point in talking until the RNS arrives.

Morning all! This header is not about the posts on this BB, but more about the US entering heavily into the middle east with the brewing tensions and conflicts in the middle east starting to ferment into a very potent and nasty mix of anger, resentment and hatred. A big war is a step closer!

I wrote a post a week or two ago about my concerns about the fracture and division between the west and the east. A line from Russia, down through Gaza and down to the red Sea and Yemen via Syria and Iran. The UAE are flexing their muscles and there is a strong connection with China, India and Russia with a quiet link with Iran and other volatile flash point regimes in that region.

We do seem to be a step closer to WW3. I do sincerely hope not!

There is also the build up of rhetoric to the inevitable invasion of Taiwan by China. The world is changing and the old colonial and capitalist west is being put in its place, whether this be done through actual war or so called peace. The problem with the peace element is that China has been winning the economic war for the last 30 years by taking the wests greed and supplying cheaper products for greater perceived margin for the western companies, whilst taking the intellectual property into China. This is at the same time as cornering the trade routes where possible and acquiring as much of the world's natural resources in mostly Africa and South America that they can get their hands on. But their reach extends into the EU, UK and US as well. They are now the largest car producing country in the world, amongst many many other achievements.

Western companies have at last seen the dangers and they are bein more strategic and building factories and moving production back into safer regions either at home or closer to home, in proven, safer and friendly countries.

Where does this leave MATD?

Short term, I can see oil going very high in price as oil becomes restricted to the west. MATD will hopefully get their LP and the SP will rise well. I am still mindful that Mongolia is sandwiched between Russia and China, and vulnerable to trade embargoes and potential border restrictions. I can not see a British entity (MATD) attracting western interests from investment companies or as an attractive take over target due to the geopolitical risks and the location of the assets.

To me, we need a quick uplift and resolution of all matters to commence total production across all blocks. A big lift in the SP. Then an exit, before this mad world we live in fractures and heavily divides.

Globalisation as we know it is coming to an end. The world is not one place and we are not all equal due to our differing laws and values. These are changing times, but we have had an amazing run of prosperity and stability for decades.

Now is the time to get real and batton down the hatches. Let's see what happens next after the bombings in Iraq!

To have such wording in the email suggesting a very active and significant role in the representation of the interests of MATD, means this has not been going to plan.

The use of her word, However....suggests that whilst she is encouraged that this will be resolved "shortly", she is not convinced.

So this could be imminent or take another month or so. We really don't know. But interesting that the BB's of her private email have been taken down and all posts around that. Even what I tried to post this morning under a different header!!!!
