GreenRoc now on the EU radar after presentation on Amitsoq at the Greenland Business Mission. Watch the interview here.
Very disappointing day today.
Brent up firmly over the $80 a barrel, up over 3.5% on the day. A great piece of news with the RNS and MATD sp drops.
One day, either in this life or the next, it will get there eventually!
Is this not the ideal time for MATD to go for a NASDAQ listing?
We have a labour government he'll bent on taxing profit investment in shares which has reduces the appetite for people to invest in the UK, especially on AIM.
It must be time to attract investors and risk takers in a market where almost anyone would want a piece of this now, wouldn't it?
Thoughts anyone?
Investor, I agree.
I can't explain anything when it comes to the share price. I started my posts this morning with the simple statement that whilst encouraging, this was still not the absolute RNS we were hoping for with gaps in it resulting in a less than exciting sp uplift. This could even go negative - after the RNS. Not the trigger for the multi-bagger as many may have been or were hoping for at all!
I agree with your sentiment, Bigsid.
The RNS is semi encouraging, but only semi. The sp looks to be back at the opening price only, which for most is unexpected!
There is still a huge amount of room for real progress here, whilst still showing promise. The sp shows this .
I can see things are moving in the right direction. But I am not totally thrilled with this RNS. It is not the multi-bagger I had hoped for.
Good Re the construction issue being sorted. Tick.
Good the H1 is going to pump hopefully in Oct. Tick.
H2 still has a small modicum of doubt but oil quality should be OK to produce hopefully in Nov. Neutral.
Gobi has not been a gusher strike and is a maybe. Negative neutral.
Contract for transport should be sorted soon but hasn't been drawn up and presented yet. (????!) Negative neutral.
There are still quite a few ifs, buts and maybes here. This is why we have a slight increase only in sp!
If Isreal is going to dismantle Irans il infrastructure, it is most likely to be in the next 24 hours, IMO. It would be tragically symbolic and delivered with intensity and venom.
Oil prices would go orbital if they sought to dole out their retribution.
And a further thought......
What do you think potential investors would think if Iran's oil infrastructure was heavily hit and significantly destroyed putting oil supply to China at risk at about the same time that an RNS came to market stating that a deal for all MATD oil to be supplied to China would do to MATD' SP?
Who will Israel listen to - Biden or Trump?
Will they strike the nuclear and oil infrastructure of Iran or not.
Biden has said don't do it. He would cut off their arms supply if they did. Trump looks as though he will win the next election but he won't be in a position to resupply Israel until early next year.
How big is Israels stock pile. Do they have enough for 4 months without running out?
What will Israel do? Cripple 4% of the world's oil supply, all going to China, or not?
Watch this sad space. This could go big, ugly and tough. The Israelis aren't frightened of being big and bold!
Oil $150 plus a barrel is a real possibility!
Totally agree Moon-Child. Still loads of if's and buts and hopefully's.
These great pieces of the jig saw puzzle coming together should be wonderful news. They are! But not the way Buck presents them.
Still pants in my opinion.
I keep having to remind myself that this should be a great share success by the end of October.
What I am seeing so far is worrying and total pants!
Keeping the faith but not convinced by the rhetoric thus far!!!
Saudis about to flood the market and collapse the price of crude - that doesn't help! Shell and BP have lost $11 billion off their SP today as a result.
We have some head winds building here. Argh!!!!
No. Really, Investor??
I thought the sarcastic tone a d obvious ire was very obvious.
I am happy to see the mother of all RNS' when it comes and I still maintain we will have everything sorted and clear by the end of October . 6 weeks folks. That's all.
Oil to be pumped in 2027 and three more raises before then.
Wonderful news!!
Matd should aim to be pumping between 20,000 and 30,000 barrels a day by early 2026 to feed this refinery.
Next year will be a huge year of expansion.
Starting to feel a little concerned about the sliding price of crude oil. Sobering to see Brent now trading at under $70 a barrel.
Matd will still be a good investment. But perhaps not the potential warp speed multi bagger we were hoping for. Argh!
Master - play area for locals.
So that's why we needed to do the rise at 2p per share! Got it!
Share price cheap.
Crude oil prices have fallen a lot in the last 24 hours and looks cheap.
I hope that the oil price doesn't collapse too far from here before the next RNS arrives.
Hamm. This will be the interesting part. How to expand Matd.
Once two wells are sunk and pumping revenue and if Gobi taps into the huge reserve MB senses there is, then to borrow $50 million for 30 Wells in the next two years will not be a problem. Matd would probably only need to sink another 10 to 15 Wells for expansion to become self funding thereby needing a smaller debt. This depends on MB's drive to locate and drill for more oil in new prospects and how successful that would be.
Lots of If's, but's and maybe's. But all in the right way.
Hopefully dilution of shares is now a thing of the past. Let's hope so!
Bigbench - everybody, get real.
The RNS clearly stated spud for H2 expected mid September and spud for Gobi Bear prospect at the end of September. Allow three weeks for each for drilling. Last local permit processing should be within this window without a problem.
Expect solid news and the long awaited transformation into a viable oil business in October. By the end of October everything will be clear. 8 to 9 weeks from now. That is when the value of Matd can be properly appreciated. Anything before is just hyped excitement and speculative.
Oil prices will surge this week due to Hezbollah missiles and Israel preemptive strike into Lebanon.
Sad seeing war with so much death and utter hatred. We will have to wait and see if this becomes the straw that breaks the camels back for the unstabilising of peace and oil supply in the middle east.
