I did not expect AGL to go on the acquisition trail, but this one sounds very sensible, as are any other downstream lick-ups they might do. Raising �12M when they were already reasonably solvent suggests they may have other acquisition targets. But 31% dilution is painful. Pity the PIs who would have been happy to subscribe.

I cannot see why three positive RNS should imply a placing. You may be right, but there was £5.5M in the kitty in July's prelims, which is almost £2M more than 12 months previously.

More excellent news which has underwhelmed the market. I think the reason is that the mkt simply does not understand. A nugget from todays RNS: "Parsortix system harvests clinically relevant cancer cells for analysis that other systems miss (EpCAM low/negative CTCs) and confirmed this by demonstrating that Parsortix can harvest such cells from the waste product of the leading antibody-based system." Thus clinically relevant info is derived from the effluent of other tests. One day the penny will drop.

FDA approval will not come without solid evidence - and, I suspect, preferably data from the USA. So Angle has to produce the goods. it takes time. The Parsortix offering is much superior to just looking at circulating DNA from dead tumor cells, but sometimes a "Rolls Royce" offering is more than is actually needed from a clinical standpoint. That. perhaps, is a risk with Parsortix, but I think this fall is an overreaction, and a buying opportunity.

I cant' see that PIs will be able to take part in the placing. So no surprises there. But... good news all the same.

The ovarian study quoted in the RNS is an excellent result. It is only the headline data and as the authors indicate, more sensitivity and specificity can be achieved by combining this with other patient data. This was not a predetermined endpoint, and was probably achieved with a bit of data dredging. Therefore it is necessary to prospectively test the algorithm. This is normal research practice. I cannot see what is unsatisfactory about the results so far. They certainly do not justify the fall in SP. So the fall may be, as others have suggested, because a fundraise is in prospect. Fine, bring it on. This is a super share with excellent prospects.

I think the significance of yesterdays RNS has been missed. i do not understand todays drop, unless this is the MMs p1ssing about for arcane reasons. While FDA approval will take time and patience will be needed, sellers do so at their peril.

AGL might now fly regardless of lack of FDA approval. Burt that would be the iceing on the cake.

This advertisement, posted 30th April, is surely an indication that all is not lost yet....... Could administration be a massive show of brinkmanship, or am I deluding myself (again)? I suppose I can answer this one myself!

This disaster - and the involvement of the AMCU- should be considered in conjunction with the nonsense presently going on in the government. Zuma wishes that more (all) enterprises in SA should be run by (and for) the black population, and AMCU are doing their part in achieving this.

PSA = Prostate specific antibody. It is as far as I am aware prostate specific, and a raised PSA indicates extracapsular spread of tumour. So the prostate may be 'cancerous' with a normal PSA until extracapsular spread occurs. Blind biopsy is very much hit and miss. A raised PSA is indeed unhelpful, although an increasing PSA over time is indicative of active extracapsular malignancy. However Parsortix is clearly a very useful additional tool in evaluating protate malignancy. More good news for Parsortix, sadly not yet reflected in the SP

This is as bad as it can get in my view. Have the union been manipulated to create further problems, to add to the exisitng difficulties with the IDC, in order to encourage/persuade existing management to throw in the towel? As MSBigview says, this was a well run company, (perhaps undercapitalised?), and I was looking forward to seeing diamonds of various colours for years into the future. Instead I think I will be adding to my long list of AIM disasters

The bore is getting FDA approval, which can be very slow. This is a pension enhancing share when approval is given
