The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The delay to FDA approval (should we get it) is difficult to justify on the basis of additional work related to covid; 2020 OK, and 2021 perhaps. But Q2022?. Origially i think we had a revised date of Oct 2021, then end 2021, and here we are in Q2 2022. More lives being shortened by inappropriate treatment for ca breast witout any explanation as to the delay.
A conspiricist might suggest that approval woùld already have been given to a US outfit.
But sadly not Humberside.
I share the cynical view about the power of US lobbyists. If i was running an outfit that examined fragments of circulating DNA, I would have my lobbyists doing everything possible to delay / prevent Parsortix from getting approval, as approval is certainly going to damage the opposition big time ( I have forgotten the name of the outfit mentioned above ? Illumina / Grail)
ML does not come over very well at interview, self effacing, and perhaps shy. But the products are there: historical problem is lack of sales. This needs to be turned around. Perhaps someone more dynamic at the helm?

I feel very anxious about this. Drayson could hoover up as many of the shares at this depressed price as he likes. It then lowers his overall cost, assuming that he paid £1.75 as part of the original IPO. I think it is time to cut losses, but I would be interestied to hear other views.

The problem of keeping hydrogen under pressure and at very low temperatures remain. All this has to be acheived at a 'carbon cost', and i wonder how much of this cost is included in the calculations. It is all very well saying that there will be no carbon emissions, but that is not the whole story!

You thought I was being a tad cynical on Nov 11th when i suggested that any T/O or buyout would have Drayson's interests in prime position. In the light of today's reports, I have no reason to change my mind.

Swazer. Your modesty continues to impress. However, some of us have read your wild and inaccurate PHE predictions with amusement, but would prefer you not to subject EQT to the same rubbish. Please take the hint.
