Sure, they could use the stock to supply an alternative market. But not to levy a re-stocking fee at the very least on a customer who’d presumably otherwise just have to chuck away some of their stock is plain bonkers.

Certainly moving in the right direction.

Weird that they bought back stock from a customer at its original selling price so they could then supply an alternative market. Why on earth would you take all the pain yourself for a customer who clearly wildly over-estimated their selling potential?

Sincerely hope they’ve tightened up any subsequent sales agreements to make customers largely liable for their own mistakes.

"The market" is a consensus of ALL investors' current views. The latest share price weighs up all the available evidence and values it accordingly. Whilst it doesn't always get things right, it's currently indicating that it doesn't think the chances of a mega deal are very likely.

In other words, it DOES understand. You just don't like/share the conclusion it's reached.

Draye - my main takeaway from that latest interview is that Tim was previously presenting a hypothesis as fact.

Now he’s saying there is actually some scientific evidence to back it up, but he can’t say in detail what that is yet until patents are in place to protect it.

It does feel like progress of sorts. But unless/until there’s a deal to back it up, I suspect the SP’s unlikely to move that significantly.

Also, even the most lucrative $1billion+ deals he refers to others striking are built up in multiple stages over several years rather than $1billion upfront. payment. It relies on everything running smoothly at every single stage from the relatively small upfront payment to milestones being hit along the way, through to successful drug licensing. Still potentially highly significant though. But only if each stage is delivered. Remember, IMM fell at the P3 fence last time.

Gold hitting its highest ever price should prove a tailwind for H&T.

More that the much-vaunted Big Pharma deal may or may not ever materialise. And unless it does, the SP will continue to languish.
