Circa 3.5 million smart pre-paid meters, spread over two orders, as stated. The orders to include the " .... design of advanced metering infrastructure systems, with the supply, installation and commissioning of 34.8 smart prepaid meters ..... "

With the " .... trickle down ..... " sub-contract negotiations to now take place, maybe December 2023 before we know if CyanConnode are in the frame or not, for this particular contract.

But there are others that have already been Awarded, that are already in the mix to be passed down to sub-contractors, I feel.

As far as the proposed project in Cornwall is concerned, I have often pondered over the years, why the UK in particular, is short of water, when we are surrounded by water.

But with the progress and development of Solar Power and Wind Power, as a form of Greener Energy and the general acceptance of Nuclear Energy as part of the " Green " mix offers, all it needs is the will to desalinate the sea water to drinking water.

You would think that the science and the technology are already in place.

planning for market potential, that has been developing globally for some time, in my opinion. With the potential markets in the UK, the Nordics, Thailand, Africa in general, and other stated markets that are being targeted and developed, such as Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia.

And who knows what others.

The market potential for CyanConnode is quite extraodinary, in India, as we know. But the " ... outside India ... " potential should not be underestimated or overlooked.

Just my opinion. But I am sure others share that view, also.

I cannot see a solution that has been proposed yet, for this project, but one that may be of interest, non-the-less.

So we know the sized pot we are aiming for, I would suggest.

A Placing for expansion, is a far different proposition to a Placing for survival, as I have said on more than one occassion in the past. And there are no interest payments attached.

If there is a Placing attached to a large-ish order, then so-be-it.

But we have more contracts that will contribute/are contributing to the CyanConnode bank account, than we probably have had before, so whether a Placing happens or not, or is even needed, we will have to wait and see what happens.

Personally, I think the " .... other option ..... " is a couple of years away yet, I feel. With still some work to be done on existing markets and also on the potential for new smart grid/smart meter/smart city developments.

Unless there is a Company somewhere, with a very large sofa that has an irresistable ammount of cash stashed away for a reasonable offer, that is worth considering.

Interesting times, for sure, I feel.

You are very welcome, Vas. And as I think we both agree, the potential within the Indonesian smart grid/smart meter development over the coming years, is encouraging, for any Company.

The potential market for development is far bigger than I had anticipated, with a population of circa 280 million people.

But it seems Huawei are already collaborating, with PLN.
