Incidentaly, I have looked into this further and if you go on the Companies House website, under CyanConnode Limited - Report and Financial Statements - 31st March, 2023, you will find that this statement was published at Company House on 5th September, 2023, but date stamped by Companies House, on 29th August, 2023, which corresponds with what I was told by CyanConnode.

Having spoken to the CyanConnode office, it was explained to me that the Annual Report and Accounts for FY23 were posted to Companies House during August 2023.

It would seem there was some confusion with the interpretation of the paperwork between CyanConnode Limited and CyanConnode Holdings, which caused a delay.

So no major issue here that I can see, as the FY Annual Report and Accounts were filed during August, 2023. Just an administration issue.

An interesting report on Iskraemeco and their association with TNB in Malaysia since the early 90's. And the report reminds us that TNB have an aspiration to replace all the 9.2 million conventional meters with smart meters, by 2026.

So we wish them well with their smart meter programme, I am sure.

Like yourself Vas, I have an interest in potential markets and potential Partners. Malaysia, as you have indicated, is one such market and thank for the report on Iskraemeco.

As far as I am aware, CyanConnode have not had an association with Iskraemeco, but CyanConnode have had a limited association with El Sewedy on at least one contract, maybe two.

And El Sewedy are on the CyanConnode Customer and Partner list, as recently as March 2023, in the Zeus report.

Good morning tonyj,

As we understand it, we have a Strategic Framework Agreement with IntelliSmart for 3m Omnimesh Modules, which IntelliSmart have been calling off for recent orders placed with CyanConnode. As I mentioned recently, an extention to the Strategic Framework Agreement will hopefully be necessary to accomodate further potential orders from IntelliSmart. We may even see other, potential, Strategic Framework Agreements over time, with other Companies, to secure a supply chain for future contracts.

I do not recall that the meter manufacturer(s) have yet been identified for any of the IntelliSmart smart meter contracts, with CyanConnode. Unless I have missed it. So in that regard, IntelliSmart are playing their cards very close to their chest.

I view the IntelliSmart and Genus Power installations as separate contracts. The Strategic Framework Agreement with IntelliSmart as one. The integration of the Omnimesh Modules into the Genus Smart Meter, as another.

If CyanConnode are eventually, potentially involved with supplying Omnimesh Modules for a contract that involves both IntelliSmart and Genus Power, then we will have to wait and see what information is given out in the RNS, at the time, as to which Agreement they are supplied under.

As far as the Silicon Labs FG28 is concerned, that is correct. I believe that the FG28 is a new Dual-Band solution that is being/has been developed. But at the moment CyanConnode have settled on the FG25 solution, for their requirements.

As far as " long-range " is concerned, in connection to WirePas, I am sure there will be something on their website that explains exactly what is meant by the term, that will answer your questions.

From the WirePas literature, they seem to use a different layer of Silicon Labs product, for different applications.

- MG24 is used in the Smart Buildings application - 2.4 GHz, high security, low power.

- FG23 is used in the Smart Meter application - Sub-GHz, highly cost effective, long range.

- BG22 is used in the Smart Tracking application - 2.4 GHz, ultra-low cost and power.

I suspect Vas, that there are many projects that we have yet to fully appreciate and to be fully made aware of. Smart Cities would be one of them.

Going back a few years, I seem to remember that there were about 100 Smart Cities envisaged at one time. But we will have to see how that particular figure unfolds.

An observation by Zeus a few month's back, highlights that there is more than one FG product provided by Silicon Labs. So companies can choose between which product they want for the service level/solution that they want to provide.

Part of the paragraph concerning the FG products, from the Zeus, 7th March, 2023 report:-

" The Indian government may eventually adopt the Wi-SUN standard and require all vendors to comply with it, thereby putting non-compliant competitors at a disadvantage. In addition, CyanConnode now offers the latest Wi-SUN products from Silicon Labs ( FG25 ), whilst key competitors use Silico Labs previous generation technologies ( FG12 ). Silicon Labs FG25 sub-GHz wireless SoC offers expanded memory, advanced security features, competitive pricing and shorter lead times ( six months ). We believe the Group is well positioned to benefit from evolving standards and technology advances."

As you have mentioned WirePas, I believe that they have confirmed that they integrate the FG23 solution, whereas CyanConnode integrate the FG25 solution, into the Omnimesh offer.

But interesting Vas, that the Indian Government may make the Wi-SUN standard a requirement for all vendors in the future, in connection with the Indian Smart Grid/Smart Meter market.

I am sure that at the moment, Adani and CyanConnode have not collaborated for any smart meter contracts, although they have had a mention, as you have already referred too.

I also cannot find a reference to Adani within the CyanConnode " Customer and Partner Landscape " in the Zeus report, from earlier in the year. Unless I have missed it.

So something to hopefully look forward too, at sometime in the future.

The number of smart meters Sanctioned and Awarded has remained the same for the October 20th report, at 229,743,139 Sactioned and 79,972,794 Awarded.

The number of meters Installed so far during October 2023 has gone up by 105,662 to 127,787 and the Cumulative Achievement has increased by 167,854 to 7,247,534.

So steady progress being made, I feel.
