There is just a possibility, that CyanConnode, CyanConnode's manufacturing suppliers, including meter manufacturers, have assests the time-scales, costs, risks, including delivery, installation and implementation, that come with the business they are in. For wharever region in the world, they are involved in. So that will/should have already been taken into account and planned for. As far as is possible.

There are risks in every business, as in life in general.

What CyanConnode have manufactured by their suppliers, is " stock." Draw-Down, or Draw Down, is a term used in connection with using that stock, when required.

The Free Dictionary gives a definition of draw down, as " ..... to reduce or deplete ......" The Thesaurus gives a definition of draw down, as to " ..... consume, use up."

You may also get a different definition, if you join " drawdown " together.

We used to use " Draw-Down " as a term in manufacturing, when we manufactured equipment for a client/various clients, that was keeped for easy deployment/readily deployment, when required.

There may be other meanings that people use, with reference to the saying, but that was the meaning I was referring too.

Hello CB,

The 32,000 a month production, should give CyanConnode some " ... draw-down ..... " capacity, which the Company and Anil, are no doubt planning for, in connection with future orders.

One of the benefits of this " .... draw-down ..... " facility, is mentioned in this mornings RNS:- " The Company expects to recognise revenues for this contract win, in H2 2019."

Once the RF infrastructure is in place, there should be a quicker, add-on, implementation period, to an existing project, for new order extentions.

You have made some other predictions recently, I seem to recall.

Did you not indicate earlier in the year, that there would be a Placing by July 1st, 2019, which proved to be incorrect. Did you not indicate that " ...... Omni will be obsolete very soon ..... " It would seem that Genus and UGVCL, do not agree with you.

The additional order seems like it is an extention to the early IPv6 Gujarat installation, started in July 2017, which was pre-Omnimesh official launch.

So, not " ..... obsolete ...... " it would seem.

The " ...... £213,000, for service enhancements relating to the UK Smart Metering Implementaion Programme ...... " while a small addition to the revenue stream, seems as though it could be an interesting development.

Thank you for, what seems like, a latest update from Sweden. The Gridstream meter/solution from Landis& Gyr, has been deployed for a few years now, if my memory serves me correctly. Not sure about the Gridstream Connect, though. I asked a question about the Gridstream at a meeting in Cambridge, just after Peter Mainz joined the Company, to which he provided some background information on it.

But things have probably moved on since then.

There have been a number statements, attributed to the Ministry of Power, most of them take a different number of meters, different time-lines, different type of meter, etc., but the statement about the 300m meters, as I mentioned to you on Friday, was from " ...... the people, who asked not to be identified, as the information isn't public." And then immediately make it public, by informing the Economic Times.

The statement appears not to come from an unofficial source and as I commented on Friday, 8.3m meters a month, seems like a tall order, to me.

If the authorities want to structure a roll-out plan, with orders for smart meters/meters, that can be realistically achieved, for delivery over a 3/4/5 year, or longer period, so that companies can plan for manufacture, delivery and installation, then the companies that will be potentially involved will, I am sure, sign up for the roll-out.

8.3 million meters a month, seems unrealistic and unachievable, at least to me.

On the other hand and using the same criteria, 35 million smart meters in the next few years, seems more achievable and realistic. And it did come from the Ministry of Power.

So we will have to see how the situation develops/unfolds.

In December 2018, they published a " Road Map " regarding their smart meter aspirations:-

Thank you for the report. That is some headline grabing figure, that works out at just over 8.3m meters per month and seems like a very aspirationally optimistic target, to me.

Especially when " ...... the people, who asked not to be identified, as the information isn't public." And then tell the Economic Times?

Personally, I think it will be a lot lower manufacture/install figure, than what is in the report. I may be wrong. I hope I am.
