I seem to remember that the RNS information detail provided, was raised within a question during the CyanConnode Investor Meet Presentation, during September 2020 and answered by Heather.

I would think that the same disclosure principles apply to RNS's, as apply to Trading Updates or any other sensitive information given out by the Company.

A brief interpretation/description of Heather's answer to the RNS information question, but I cannot guarantee it is word for word:-

- We would like to put out more information, but it is not only share-holders who read RNS's. Other customers may look at this. The competition may read RNS's. We do not want to give out to much information about numbers of units or value. It may come down to an NDA. We send the RNS's to our Partners to get there permission, sometimes they do not want their names mentioned and the details disclosed. And sometimes they will provide a quote. CyanConnode have to view the overall commercial sensitivity of any information.

But from the information provided in the UK Investor Magazine Webinar Presentation, which I provided an extract from yesterday, it suggests that there are opportunities in Bangladesh ( and others ) that are being pursued by CyanConnode. But because of any possible commercial sensitivities, mentioned by Heather, CyanConnode have to be aware of any sensitive information they provide to share-holders, or the market in general.

Whether it be in the form of RNS/Trading Updates/Webinars, etc., the commercial sensitivity issue has to be addressed. But as I mentioned yesterday, all share-holders will be informed when any relevant news is available.

Which could be/may be, at any time.

Some further, additional information on CyanConnodes progress in Bangladesh, can be found in the June 30th, 2020 UK Investor Magazine Webinar Presentation.

From the presentation document:-

But no time scales given. But no doubt all share-holders will be informed, if/when there is any relevant news available. Bangladesh is also mentioned in the UK Investors Magazine presentation document, in the " Business Update " section, under " Business Development " ( Bangladesh, Indonesia, UAE ) and Bangladesh are also mentioned in the " Summary " section, under " New Business Territories " ( UAE, Indonesia, Bangladesh.)

So which part do you think is incorrect?

The prices from each individual company, would have been known by all three companies, before the tender was tabled. Whatever they were, initially, they were enough to win the original competitive tender.

So are you now suggesting that it is your understanding, from whatever source that might be, that L&T/CyanConnode should reduce their costs to give Techno Electric a higher profit margin, after Techno, if the news report I posted earlier is to be believed, effectively took the overall price of the contract that had been awarded to L&T/CyanConnode/Techno Electric, then sub-contracted the tender out to Dongfang Electronics and Allied Engineering Works, for a lower price, to give Techno a higher profit margin than the one included in the original tender?

To be clear, my information comes from the news report(s) I posted and my opinion comes from passed experiences. No involvement from CyanConnnode or any other source. I am sure they have better things to do.

But as think I mentioned to you earlier, CyanConnode will let all share-holders know officially, when any news is available.

I do not believe I suggested in my 11:12 post to yourself, what you suggested in your 13:05 post to me, about " Are you suggesting CC get some sort of profit share from the deal?"

What I did suggest was that the " ..... sometimes you have to get your elbows out ..... " approach is sometimes necessary, which is what L&T/CyanConnode did when they went public with what they perceived as wrong-doing. But at least we/they all know where they stand, now.

Any profit for L&T/CyanConnode will already be built-in to the original contract, should it be re-awarded to L&T/CyanConnode, when/if it is revisited by the relevant authorities. So your reference to " Are you suggesting CC get some sort of profit share from the deal?" the answer directly is no, I am not/did not suggest that and I am unsure what you are referring too?

But as you have taken the " Good for Techno Electric " position on Techno using L&T/CyanConnode to win a contract and then for Techno to decide to sub-contract it out to other companies for a better margin, once they had been part of the winning " team," is interesting to know.

Not a very good start, to what seemed like a new Partnership, between L&T/CyanConnode/Techno Electrics, I might suggest.

As L&T and CyanConnode have already, theoretically, won the contract once, that would be the logical thing to do.

But my " But it will be interesting to find out, how the authorities plan to proceed with this once awarded, now delayed contract " is the position of Techno Electric, in any eventual outcome for the remainder of the contract.

There are hopefully a number of contracts, that may be " close." In India and globally. But CyanConnode will let all share-holders know officially, when any news is available.

That is one way of looking at it. But as we know, Techno Electrics were awarded a contract for Jammu & Kashmir, using L&T/CyanConnode, as what you could call, the " .... vehicle companies ...... " for the tender. Only to then sub-contract out the awarded contract to a Chinese company, for a higher profit margin for Techno Electric.

So my point being, as you know as you have worked on contracts, " .... sometimes you just have to get your elbows out ...... " as the saying goes, in business and in life in general and fight your corner.

And the Jammu & Kashmir contract award situation, I believe shows that CyanConnode and Partners, are willing to do just that, when necessary.

Yes, it is good to see that multi still has an interest in CyanConnode and very interesting to see that Andhra Pradesh has an RF tender on the table.

....... Company, placed an order during 2020, with CyanConnode - confirmed in the UK Investor Magazine Webinar, during June, 2020.

During 2020, CyanConnode received a confirmed order from Genus Power, for £3.3 million, on 6th January, 2020. On the 23rd March, 2020, CyanConnode received a follow-on order, from Thailand. On the 4th June, 2020, there was an update on the delayed Indian contract, from September 2018. And on the 22nd June, 2020, there was the confirmation of the roll-out of the January 2020 order from Genus Power. And on the 7th September, 2020, CyanConnode received a new order, form Indian utility, MPWZ. So it looks like the TANGEDCO order, highlighted in the CyanConnode Investor Magazine Webinar Presentation, during June 2020 and also mentioned in the Investor Meet Presentation, during September, 2020, is the one from January 6th, 2020, from Genus Power.

From the 6th January, 2020 RNS:-

" Under the purchase order, CyanConnode will supply Advanced Metering Infrastructure ( AMI ) standards-based hardware, services and head-end software, which includes a perpetual licence and an annual maintenance contract. The Company's Omnimesh technology will provide a network canopy, enabling a hybrid RF mesh and cellular communications platform that is scaleable to 200,000 smart meters."

...... Presentation informs us, that CyanConnode have an ecosystem of Partners, but are not exclusively linked with any one Partner. CyanConnode are also working with new Partners, as yet to be announced, whereby CyanConnode are/will be integrating their Cellular and Mesh modules, into the potential new Partners smart meters and communications platforms.

And for a Company the size ( at the moment ) of CyanConnode, their " Customers and Partners " page, is both encouraging and impressive. And has been for some time. With many smart meter/smart grid global contractors, from many different areas of smart meter/smart grid expertise, already on the list.

So should it come to a take-over, just take your pick. But not just yet I feel.

In my opinion, of course.

The information I provided was not specifically for you or tonyj. But for anyone that is interested. I thought the additional information on Partners, was relevant and the BeaconTrax/Wirepas connection gave an insight into some of the products/solutions they are both connected with.

I followed up on the Wirepas connection CB posted some months ago.

Within the information that CB has posted, it confirms that " Wirepas is deployed in significant volumes by 50 utilities, in Nordic regions." So I might suggest that with the Connode connection, to Nordic regions, that CyanConnode are aware of Wirepas.

I notice also from the literature that CB posted from Wirepas, that " All the gateways can support IPv4 or IPv6." It is my understanding from information over the years, supporting IPv4 or IPv6, does not neccessarily mean that your product/solution is IPv4/IPv6. Just that it supports it. Also, I believe that your product/solution has to be IPv6 to get into India. Especially concerning smart meters.

With the number of meters required in India specifically, there will be many opportunities for Companies of all types, including RF companies. So competition will definitely grow.

Also I have provided some information on Wirepas Partners. There is non on the list that are familiar me. So maybe Wirepas are targeting a different market within the smart grid/smart meter sphere. I will leave that for another day.

I tend to agree - re Opex. With limited or no upfront investment, with the cost spread over a 7/10 year period, this new(ish) solution service should provide an attractive/alternative way to finance the smart meter expansion for the utilities. While at the same time increasing their billing potential.

You have doubted the significance of CyanConnodes involvement in the EESL Inspire 2019 event. And always have done. And trying to make a mountain out of a mole-hill, with this " ...... one word that changed the whole dynamic ..... " quote, because you know how significant it was.

Anil Daulani and Gautum Kumar presented and were involved in the EESL Inspire 2019 event, during 11th/12th November, 2019, which consisted of 5 sessions, over 2 days. Anil led the discussion in the session on Communication Backbone.

Also in the report, under the heading " Consultative workshop on national smart prepaid metering " the report confirms that " CyanConnode were also invited to participate in a consultative workshop, at the end of November ( 29th and 30th.)"

This is where Sylvain Vittecoq presented. This was also a " .... 2 day event, split into sessions, each including an open house discussion as well as short presentations. " Organised by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, in association with the United States Agency for International Development ( USAID.)

Not the 11th/12th November EESL Inspire 2019 round table event that Anil Daulani and Gautum Kumar attended.

They were different events.
