Good afternoon Inthetin,

In my opinion, CyanConnode has been considerably de-risked over the last 12/18 months or so, with the use of some alternative financial instruments, to progress the Company going forward.

Someones risk. Is someone else's gamble. Is someone else's investment. It depends on your point of view on risk and the way you view things in life, in general, I suspect.

And progress has also been made, with the development of new products and contracts and the deployment of senior personnel in India.

But good luck with your investment, as I would say to anyone.

You are welcome. The dividend situation, in my view, seems to have taken over from the Funding/Placing issue, for some posters. It is coming on for nearly 2 years now, since the last Placing was going to happen, according to some. But as yet, no Placing. John and Heather seem to be navigating the Company through with more acceptable, alternative, financial ways of progressing the Company.

So, so far, so good.

But dividends have been covered by the Company, as I have already posted. To me that is good enough. Dividends were not the reason I invested in CyanConnode originally, or any other Company I have been involved with, over the years. I expect the Company to be financially successful and product/contractually successful, before dividends are considered.

So that is further down the line for me.

Other posters strategies/share-holding/average/if-when they buy/if-when they sell, is of no interest to me, what-so-ever. But the fact that some feel the need to reveal such information on this bb, leads me to wonder why?

But I do not wonder about it to much. There are more important things happening in my life, at the moment and more important things to look forward to.

But the eventual success of CyanConnode, is one.

For everyones information, from the CyanConnode Final Results - Fifteen-Month Period Ended 31st March 2020 ( Delivered 4th September, 2020 ):-

" The directors do not recommend the payment of a dividend ( 2018 £nil.) The Group has no plans to adopt a dividend policy in the immediate future and all funds generated by the Group, will be invested in the further development of the business, as is normal for its industry sector and stage of development."

I am confident with the progress that has been made, especially over the last 2/3 years, with the new product developments and the deployment of key personnel in India in particular and globally, in general. Although Anil Daulani did a significant job, while he was at CyanConnode and I wish him well.

Linked-in to the announcement on February 1st, 2021, by Anil Rawal of Intellismart Infra, with references to an Opex model which was published on the CyanConnode - Twitter website, a look back to the RNS dated 7th September, 2020, may be of interest.

From the 7th September, 2020 RNS, MPWZ order, from Anil Daulani:-

....... it is common sense to welcome any order, CB, no matter how large or small it may be. Not as you have suggested, as a sense of desperation.

An order of any size, usually means progress, in any market. But over the years, we have mostly seen things very differently, concerning Cyan/CyanConnode.

But I am happy with the difference.

Sorry I missed you yesterday. I think that is a reasonable timescale initially, that you have suggested. But as we know, negotiations can take time to finalize, concerning contracts. Especially complex smart meter contracts.

So as you have stated and we mostly all appreciate, patience is the key.

I agree, that the graph looks very encouraging. And also, John Cronin's comments that I highlighted earlier, within the Trading Update, were also welcome.

The development of the Company and its infrastructure seem to be being recognized within the smart grid industry generally, with CyanConnodes products and services also being recognized and becoming more established, in various global markets.

Also contained in the Trading Update:-

" In June 2018, CyanConnode launched its award-winning Omnimesh Advanced Metering Infrastructure ( AMI ) platform, which has already gained considerable commercial traction, especially in India, which is a key market for the Company.

" Through a Global partner eco-system, which is vendor agnostic, CyanConnode has several routes to market, therefore it is well positioned to capitalise upon increasing Global demand for smart metering solutions."

John Cronin commented in the report:-

" We have made solid progress during the current financial year and I am pleased with the level of Module deployments, in India. These deployments are secured against Letters of Credit, which has significantly improved our cash collection and with ongoing cost control, our cash, our cash position is at a similar level to March 2020.

" CyanConnode is now delivering higher volumes of Modules than at any point during the Company's history and we expect increased demand for deliveries during the remainder of this financial year. I look forward to releasing further updates, in due course."

" The order book for communications technology, for electric meters in India, is worth £19m, which is equivalent to one million units and these orders could be deployed over the next two years. That is still a small percentage of the 250 million smart meter roll-out planned in India. There are also orders from utilities in Thailand and Sweden, plus opportunities in UAE and Nigeria."

Thank you for both lots of information on the UK and Thailand. It is appreciated.

I would imagine that both JST and CyanConnode were both looking forward to the possible future smart meter developments, in Thailand, which is why Cyan ( at the time ) announced a Distribution Agreement with JST, during May 2016. With JST investing £2 million via the Placing to acquire Connode in July 2016.

If you link up then with tonyj's post at 12:05 today, you then begin to see the progress that CyanConnode has made/is making, over recent years, with both Clients and contracts overall and the potential that there is in Thailand and globally.

But thank you for the reminder from 2017.

I seem to remember another poster/share-holder mentioning before, about wanting to buy some shares, in CyanConnode, but the market was, as you say, very tight at the time and they were not successful.

But all in all, the Company situation/prospects, seems to be changing for the better. Long may it continue.
