But as you were asking specific questions in your 08:26 post today and you concluded with " Am I missing something? Sorry if I am - it's early," I understood that to indicate that you did not know. So I gave you my view. Which it seems, on this matter, you tend to agree with.

But as I believe I mentioned to tonyj yesterday, about the Arden Report, about there being a lot of information for investors/potential investors to digest. And some will interpret the information differently to others.

The more information that is given, the more investors/potential investors will interpret it in different ways. That is what happens.

I take from the figures on Page 16, that 2018A and 2019A are to December of those years. 2020A is for the 15 month period upto the end of March 2020 ( The now, new financial year end ) covered in the 4th September, 2020 Financial Results.

The 2021E figure is, I would think, the to the end of March 2021 figure, as the Company now reports its figures to conclude at the end of March each year.

An interesting report indeed. And interesting that they have named a number of states that are interested in the Indore model.

From the report:-

" The states which showed their interest in Indore's smart meter system, include Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Himachal, Uttar Pradesh, North Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Odisha and Punjab.

Along with three other countries, including Ghana, Bangladesh and Germany.

So it seems as though the Indore project has gained some interest, both at home and abroad.

You have mentioned the TNEB/Tamil Nadu " lodging " situation, that happened back in 2013, which was a bad time for all investors in Cyan.

But there has been a development and an order, during 2020, from the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company ( TANGEDCO ) that could suggest that there could be other opportunities for CyanConnode going forward, in that area also.

But you may already know this.

But I agree with you and tonyj, that CyanConnode are in a good position technically and also with their Manufacturing Partner/Utility infrastructure, that has been developed over recent years.

I am optimistic, like you, about future contracts. Although a time-scale, until we see the actual evidence of a contract/contracts being awarded to CyanConnode and Partners, remains unclear.

But optimistic, non-the-less.

It is also unclear how many of these new tenders have an RF requirement - the Adani tender for 700,000 consumers/meters, at the moment seems to be the exception. So we must wait to see the outcome of various tenders and if there is a proportion of RF meters required and who is successful.

But you get the feeling that RF seems to be more acceptable now, than it was 2/3 years ago. With CyanConnode and Partners having successfully completed contracts/projects for clients/potential clients to judge, against a competitor(s) solution.

The report does not stipulate which end solution is required for the smart meters - i.e. GPRS/PLC/RF etc. So the outcome of the distribution of the final tender/contract winners, is yet un-known. But it looks like this could be an initial public announcement.

And to my knowledge and recollection, CyanConnode do not have an historic connection to the Bihar state. Order wise.

" India's state run Energy Efficient Services Limited, has signed agreements with the two Bihar distribution companies, for a 2.34 million smart prepaid meter rollout.

" The agreements with the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited ( NBPDCL ) and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited ( SBPDCL ) mark the commercial launch of smart prepaid metering in the state. The initiative also is the first of its scale in India."

As it has been " 28+ " since a Director of CyanConnode purchased shares in the Company, I thought that the time-line was worth a mention. Linking it up with Pedro's February 8th date.

No logic required. Just an observation.

Just on another point of observation, I had not/have not expected any, what I would call " contractual news " after David Johns-Powells share purchase on January 6th, 2021, for at least a month.

But we are aware, hopefully, contracts are being negotiated on a regular basis and that contracts can land at any time. With the length of time these smart meter contracts take and the complexity of the negotiations/discussions between contractors, it must be very difficult to judge exactly when a Director can purchase shares in a Company they are connected too.

Which may be something to consider when discussing the amount of time it takes between tenders/contracts/orders, which CyanConnode are involved with.

Unless another director increases their share-holding in the interim period.
