I might suggest that, that will depend on what John Cronin refers to as " sticky."

The TNEB tender I mentioned a couple of days ago, that was, as we know, eventually " lodged," had an overall potential at the time, of 18 million meters. But CyanConnode still kept in contact with TNEB despite the initial disappointment and seem to have developed a dialogue with them, resulting in the order for TANGEDCO/TNEB.

But all these potential smart meters, will not be all RF. Just hopefully, some of them. But there may be more, as a " potential." Time will tell, I am sure.

So to answer your question, I believe that the contracts already awarded to CyanConnode, if the " sticky " sitiuation arises that John Cronin has referred to, could hopefully have a significant impact on where future orders land.

Let us hope we get into a " sticky " situation, which may result in a positive.

Just my opinion, of course.

Genus has a capacity to manufacture 10 million meters/smart meters, at the moment. But they can increase capacity to 15/20 million if neccessary, over a period of time.

So everyone will have to do their bit.

And all Governments have " targets " to aim for. It is what drives an economy. As I mentioned in my previous post, " the challenge is there to be picked up."

From the report, but not included in the CyanConnode/Montecarlo Ltd RNS, dated January 4th, 2023:-

" India is currently on a mission under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme to replace all 250 million meters with smart prepaid meters by the end of 2025.

" Phase one has a target of 100 million replacments by the end of 2023, with a focus on industrial and commercial users, government offices and areas with high losses above 15%.

" With approaching 200 million smart meters sanctioned but little more than one-third of these at various stages of tendering or award, more awards are expected."

Personally, I do not see the " 100 million " smart meters being " replaced " or installed, by " ..... the end of 2023." But if they get through the tendering process for this Phase of the smart metering project, I can see possibly that the orders can be awarded " ..... by the end of 2023."

But who knows. The challenge is there to be picked up.

Sorry for the delay in responding. We went out for a meal last night and I didn't notice your post until we were going out.

The sub 30p mark seems to be a realistic benchmark progression initially. It will depend on, in my opinion, a positive Trading Update and/or a potential further order(s) to move the share-price towards or above the 30p mark.

When John Cronin said he thought that Cyan ( as it was called at the time ) had a potential to be a £200 million Company, I do not remember him putting a time-scale on that projection. Cyan were only concentrating at the time on India with TNEB the main target. Unfortunately, as we know that eventually ended up being " lodged."

Which makes the order CyanConnode received from TANGEDCO/TNEB, more significant for me. The Company continued to be involved, over time, with TNEB.

Over the years, John Cronin, the Board and the Senior Management ( Past and Present ) have transformed Cyan into CyanConnode and positioned the Company into a potentially prominent position for smart metering in India specifically, but also globally.

But getting back to your " £200 million " comment ( and I cannot specifically remember whether John said £'s or $'s ) but we can stick with what you indicated, as £200 million. 241 million shares in issue, at the moment. A £200 million market cap Company, with 241 million shares in issue, would have to achieve a share-price of circa 83p per share.

So, do I believe that CyanConnode can achieve that 83p share price, without being taken-over, with the business model they have and the potential RF contracts that could be awarded to CyanConnode and Partners? Absolutely.

But no time-scales.

But we do seem to be gathering pace over the last 12 months or so, so it remains to be seen if that pace continues, which in turn will determin how the share-price performs.

The share-price projection from Zak Mir seems to suggest a further, circa 30% rise from where we are today, to potentially 22p, by the end of January 2023. But with hopefully the potential for further orders and a Trading Update, the potential after a good news period could be very encouraging indeed.

What it said to me was, that the report/reporter holds the view that " CyanConnode Holdings plc ( LON:CYAN ) shares could be 47% below their intrinsic value estimate."

From the report dated January 6th, 2023:-

" Compared to the current share-price of UK£0.2, the company appears quite undervalued at a 47% discount to where the stock price trades currently."

In which I agree. Somewhere between 25p and upwards. ( With todays share price being circa 17p not 20p.)

This quarters " possibilities," will be taken into consideration by the Market, when they become " actualities." As they have been, with a slight increase in the share-price since the Montecarlo order, but still roughly circa 35% up on last week.

But as more tenders are hopefully awarded to CyanConnode and Partners and the figures are recognised, the Market should act in reponse to that.

They seem to react far more quickly to bad news, than they ever do, to good news.

Thanks for the " Simply Wall St. " report Inthetin. The headline reflects what I seem to remember has been indicated for some time. But the Market is the Market, at the end of the day.

I have not seen a formula like that since I was at school. We managed to get by though.

Glad to hear it 2cv and I am well thank you. I agree, that the interest seems to be building here, albeit slowly. But we are starting to gain momentum, gaining contracts and picking up new Partners.

It is interesting that Montecarlo, CyanConnodes recent Partner in Madhya Pradesh, is on the REC list and also Fluentgrid Ltd. CyanConnodes new VP - Sales and Business Development for India, has also joined from Fluentgrid Ltd.

So an experienced team being built, in key positions, at CyanConnode.

Last year we had a Trading Update RNS, from CyanConnode, on the 12th January, 2022 and on the 1st February, 2022 we had a Q3 2022 update from Hardman&Co. So it should not be too long now, if we are to get an update during this month.

In answer to your question tonyj, at 11:44, we will have to wait and see what is revealed in any future correspondence or information.

We do not know at this point, if a specific meter manufacturer has been nominated/appointed, or if Montecarlo will tap-in to CyanConnode's pool of meter manufacturing Partners. But as the " ..... supply of Omnimesh Modules is expected to commence during Q1 of 2023, " I would suggest that the decision has already been made, or will be made in the near future.

The way I see it, is that the CyanConnode RNS tells us that " ..... CyanConnode India PVT Ltd, has received an order from Montecarlo Limited ....... ." So I would say that Montecarlo are classed as the " lead " in that respect.

Montecarlo also point out that they " .... are pleased to be partnering with CyanConnode ...... " while Montecarlo " ...... comes with a strong and successful project implementation background and while this is our first foray into the smart metering business, we are confident that we will make a this a successful case study for other projects."

So in that respect, you would think, as the most experienced contibutor to smart metering infrastructure, that CyanConnode would take the lead, for that segment of the contract. But overall, I would suggest it would be Montecarlo, who are classed as the " lead."

Project Implementation companies are very experienced in the offer they provide. It is up to the individual Project Implementation companies, to work with other specialist who have different/specialised skill-sets, to deliver the complete package and a successful project.

All in my opinion, of course.
