RE: maybe good time to join??27 May 2016 14:01
I got in to Cambian around the time that hampton's article was written, then added some more as it went up through the 70's and 80's. I break even in the mid-70's, so am not too worried about losing big on this share. I agree that it's horribly undervalued and it seems to be (very slowly) recovering now at least.
However, I do have a question which arises from the latest results announcement. In the document, the BOD openly admits that they are exploring options to sell the Adult Services business, which in revenue terms is not far off half the Cambian Group. Were they to sell off the Adults business - and I imagine there'll be no shortage of private equity or trade bidders - then where does that leave us as shareholders of what's left?
It's fairly straightforward if the entire business was sold to trade or taken private again, but I'm less clear on the impact on shareholders if (or when) a huge chunk of the business is sold off. Any insight in to the possible scenarios here would be really interesting to read.
