200p hit! Really significant milestone for the share price, given how low it fell at one point. I've almost tripled my investment on this now.

I agree that shares should be plunging today, but I think that this level of mediocre performance is now priced in to the SP. My average here is only about 45p so I can live with this current price, but there are loads of people who are in way deeper than that and the BOD is doing absolutely nothing to convince us shareholders that there is something better on the horizon. This thing needs to be sold off and fast. It's tempting to average down, but I have little-to-no confidence that things will improve any time soon.

About £1 has fallen off the share price since I sold out earlier in the year. I did say I'd look for reentry when the price fell back a bit. Time to put this one back on the watchlist I think.

That was also my rationale for buying in last year. What I hadn't accounted for (my own fault I suppose) was that the BOD would somehow manage to thwart this at every turn. It is of course far from over yet, but performance thus far has been very poor by any measure.

Bought a nice chunk of these about a month or so ago. For me, this share ticks the 'buy and hold forever' box. I live in South West London and find myself in Young's pubs all the time. I always like to experience a company's offering before I buy in (wherever possible) and I love everything about this business. I'm kicking myself for not buying in sooner, in fact. Absolutely fantastic pubs, well-run and not overpriced. Long may it continue!

It does highlight yet another example of PFD's dismal management however. That should have been us, sweeping up a fair offer from McCormick. RB has run a very smooth process there, with a great result. Meanwhile we're still bobbing between 45p and sub-40p and getting nowhere fast. This remains one of my worst ever investments. Here's hoping there's an offer coming which will prove me wrong.

Agreed Borg. Nice to see this continuing to tick up in anticipating of the SD.

They'd better get their skates on if it's going to be before the end of June! Hopefully we'll have news in the next week or so.

I'm also not a big fan of stop orders to be honest. Great idea in principle but if you get it slightly wrong (as Quoth mentioned with Randgold) then it really hurts. I had the same with Jimmy Choo last year, which flew through the roof shortly after my stop was breached. You're right through OrangeGoblin (great band, btw!), I can't complain at all as I basically doubled my money here. I'm not angry about it as much as I am smiling with disbelief at the SP flying up again immediately after I sold out!

Blimey, what is going on here at the moment? We're in freefall! My stake in this share isn't as big as it was six months ago, but this still smarts. Fingers crossed for a turnaround shortly.

ANOTHER dividend! Extraordinary. This is now looking like my best-timed buy ever and increasingly like my worst-timed sell ever! Surely this incredible run can't last?

Just returned from a week's holiday and logged in here... about 180p added to this share since I sold out a fortnight ago! You have to laugh. I cannot complain at all having originally bought in below 500p, but it's still pretty surprising. Well done all still holding on!

I've decided that this GW dividend will be my last for the time being and have sold the other half of my holding. This share has been a fantastic (and extremely rapid) success for me, having basically doubled in price since I bought in almost a year ago. I'll be keeping a very close eye on it in case the much-fabled annual price collapse occurs and I'm able to buy back in at a later date. This is a great BB as well. Some investors here who clearly really know the product. Good luck all.

Great end to the week, going in to the long weekend. Nice to see the 370p mark breached - cracking turnaround for this share over the last few weeks.

I've been lucky enough to have made very few really bad share picks during my limited investing 'career', but this continues to be the absolute worst mistake I've ever made. How the BOD here is getting away with this I'll never know. I'd take the hit and sell out, but I'm still grimly hanging on to the hope that someone might pop up to buy this dog! Good luck all. Exactly what I was talking about when I sold out back in Feb. Could be a tough spell for the business - will keep an eye out for a decent reentry point.

Nice set of interims today - a bit 'steady as she goes' admittedly, but all moving the right direction and no signs of the business faltering. I'm still happy with this as a long term hold and may look to add a few at the next sign of a price fluctuation.
