Diageo have made the right move here after the disastrous Debra Crew years. It will take some time to turn this supertanker around but at least we cab be confident that we have the right captain at the helm.

According to Goldman Sachs we seem to be backing the wrong horse here. Having been consistently negative about ITM over the years they have now promoted CWR to their Conviction Buy list. Ah well.

The City treated Emma Walmsley harshly but she did a pretty good job turning GSK around after the stasis of the Andrew Whitty years. These results are a robust response to her critics.

Appreciative of the information about the investor presentation provided by those who attended. It'd good to know that company is moving in the right direction, with carefully targeted investment in technology and product improvement. If you believe in green hydrogen then this seems to be the company to invest in.

I couldn't agree more. This used to be a forum for sensible discussion and has degenerated into personal point scoring.

If I lived nearer to Sheffield I might have applied. It would certainly be interesting to see the factory and expansion works. Sadly I will have to follow the example of Gordon White and Lord Hanson, who famously never visited any of their factories during their time at the helm of Hanson Trust.

I agree with you about cash flow Bilbo. It's heading in the right direction now, for which we can be grateful. There used to be intelligent, respectful debate on this board . It's unfortunate that it has degenerated into point-scoring.

I agree it's very frustrating, especially for those of us who invested in the company more than 20 years ago. I have on many occasions felt like giving up on ITM but have always held on in the hope that the hydrogen economy might eventually come to something. Despite all the encouraging noises from Dennis Shulz, the company is still lossmaking after all these years and we don't have a clear timeline for profitability.

I have for a long time been sceptical of this company's green credentials and am pleased to see this issue being addressed again. Governments have subsidised the business because they need its base-load power output and it's cheaper than the nuclear alternative. So everyone pretends that it's a green outfit and ignores the environmental costs of felling and transporting vast quantities of wood across the Atlantic.

I remember wishing that I had sold when the shares were over £7. Since the we have had a couple of highly diluting rights issues so the current SP is probably higher that it looks. As with RR, canny folk would have made a lot of money by taking up those rights. If only we could foresee the future eh.

So after all that excitement we're back in the 60s again, as expected.

I can't see anything here that will excite the market this morning but I suppose we shouldn't have expected any. The long slog continues.
