Once again CWR motoring ahead, and on high volume trades, with iTM left in the slow lane. Ah well.....

CWR up 11% today. ITM propping up the table as usual......

I note that there is no dividend increase over last year's. Disappointing to say the least.

Londoner7 you have done well to avoid the H2 sector until now. It has been the graveyard of many an optimistic investor over the years. My patience has just about run out with ITM but I hang on here in the forlorn hope that there might eventually be some value in the company. The previous mangement wasted precious time doing not very much - the current CEO at least seems to be commercially aware but it remains to be seen whether any money can be made from this business. Until we see evidence of that the market will avoid the shares.

Confidence in the H2 sector has collapsed. It has happened before and recovered. We just have to hope that some good news comes along which will kickstart shares in these companies again. It's not a sector for the impatient.

You just have to hope that a change of government may presage a move towards the kind of support that ITM's competitors are clearly enjoying. Very frustrating to be up against such myopic thinking.

I was puzzled by this too Bilbo. I remember ITM touting for sales in the US when Jim Heathcote was CEO and that's going back a bit. I guess they are now trying to play catch-up, which might be difficult, as you say.

Germany does seem to be the most promising market for ITM. The govt there understands the importance of green hydrogen, unlike ours which is trying to keep big oil sweet by promoting carbon capture and blue hydrogen.

Succinctly put Bilbo. After 20 years it would just be nice to see the end of heavy losses.....

Not much evidence of joined-up thinking from UK govtsanyway Bilbo. I'm sure the Germans know what to do and how to stick with the plan. Our lot can't see further than building a lot of wind farms. We need a strategy for energy storage and hydrogen could be a big contributor there. The issue of heavy transport needs to be addressed too but there's no evidence of any plan there either.

Cureboy I think the disparity between the two ratings only emphasises the difficulty of valuing a business like this. Impossible to say who is right - only time will tell. To remain invested, you have to have faith in the new CEO to deliver and he has not had time to prove his worth yet. All we can say is that he has made a promising start and importantly understands the need for prudent financial management, which his predecessor apparently did not. After all these years of loss making, even a small indication of future profitability would ignite the shares. Until then a lot more patience will be required.

That's what concerns me toneman. It has happened before. Hopefully guidance maintained means what it says.....

Since investing in ITM is usually a triumph of hope over experience, I have no great expectations of tomorrow's results but a surprise on the upside would be nice. The market is clearly taking a gloomy view, which may be justified by events.

Bilbo I know I have asked this before but is there any evidence yet that carbon capture works at scale?

It isn't a good look is it? You would have thought they might have signalled this earlier instead of leaving it until the last minute. But then this is ITM.

Nice to see a good start to the week Bilbo. I have more confidence that Dennis Schulz can deliver the kind of order book that is required to drive the company forward. Time will tell of course.....

The card will presumably not be valid for pub/ restaurants sold to other companies. Even now you have to check which ones are in-house, which can be annoying.
