Doug, hence my comment on hedge affecting COPL at the 2000bopd point, although reality is I believe the hedge will affect us before we reach that figure anyway, as I assume we will see that sort of figure after GGS has been running for a while, hence my assumption that in August COPl is a different company, and no raise is needed before then so should be good.
Also there is a positive error in my assumption of $70 for oil if you want to also point that out.
My simple maths had zero to do with the larger oil find. My assumption is if COPL have to go alone on that (I don’t think they will / can) then if the base business model and expenditure is cover by the existing, producing fields, then it’s a company business decision on if they want to pursue a raise / funding for that large find and not a “we have to raise to keep the lights on”
Fastfood, yes who knows what 1500/2000/2500 brings in terms of positive cash flow, but again even at a very very simplified level, work out what they produced in the 12 months prior to the raise, work out what they raised and then consider that was enough for 12 months of operating plus stage 1 of the GGS. Then work out what they would need for the next 12 months, without any GGS work and then make your assumptions on all the other variables and you will reach a figure that suggests above this bopd COPL are standing on their own two feet.
