I find it strange when people want all stocks to be valued at what they are worth everyday.

The best way to make money on the markets is to find the opportunities where there is a value disconnect and build a holding, sit, and wait. Intrinsic value always outs in the end.

I understand people not wanting to average down, but for me it was a no brainer and as such sit in a profit position at this market cap, with a significant holding, that I would never have thought possible.

Let’s see what it does. It’s done 2700 ish before the pressures where deemed an issue so I would expect over 2000 by Xmas but different opinions are no issue as the numbers will do the talking.

Pilot, from your reply to someone what part of doubling production by year end due to the new GGS is so out of this world that no one with a level head would think it?

We were at 1100bopd, and if we are not at 2200bopd by year end I would be disappointed.

Well I wanted an update this week and got about 5 or 6 in one RNA lol.

Overall really happy with the update and took a few more at 3.6 although in theory that raised my average so time will tell but if the production side starts the increase, poo continues to rise / stays at these levels, and comms improve it won’t take much to move this on to a new level.

My personal view is these structural changes and finance arranges are to support the JV party coming onboard but that’s my assumption and nothing else.

Must admit did expect it to finish just under 4p rather than 3.6 but for my personal strategy / average it matters not.

Would really like an update on production next week to provide early confirmation for August and a little summary of what they are trying to achieve in sept / QTR 4 this year. Would seem a strange strategy if they don’t update so fingers crossed.

Clue was in the sentence “to influence a SP”

Positional post based on what you think the company is currently offering in terms of an investment as that is normal, change your view every few days / weeks when there is no material difference is pointless, and in no way helps direct the SP in the direction you want to support a “new trade”

Nothing wrong in trading, I am being blunt I have done it in COPL, just don’t feel the need to make up some narratives on why the SP needs to head in a certain direction on any share.

I worry about some peoples health, their opinions change with such regularity that they must have constant whip lash, or genuinely think positional posting to influence a SP is actually a worthwhile activity.

I also love the fact that every trader on LSE makes a fortune and is able to point out where they brought / sold after the event. Once you realise that basically 1/10 traders might be successful it’s easier to ignore the rubbish.

Would be great but the route will be JV unless someone drops in and trumps current talks, which at LOI stage i feel is unlikely. Either way money will be made I am sure

We can but hope it’s a buy out rather than a JV as that is what I have always wanted. Sell the lot for a decent amount now and move on as that’s the quicker route to monetising this however equally with all the factors involved (cc etc) a JV and wait 2 years would probably give a much higher return so happy either way.

I assume when you say buy out is coming that’s your opinion / want as opposed to being factually correct ;)

The production seems to be positive and if your estimations are correct that is about 2 months earlier than I was expecting us to reach the mentioned milestone so would be very pleased with that. My estimation was not based on being in anyway informed it was based on a slow ramp up and slower response.

July will have been interrupted with installation and commissioning so expect that to be poor and it’s it similar to June I guess be happy.

Yes the revenue uplift for qtr 3 with a modest 300bopd average above qtr 2 and the POO increase gives about $3m+ additional rev.

Looking forward to seeing the sept bopd figures once it’s stabilised and pressure increased.

GGS complete on time and under budget and importantly functioning. Let’s see what that does to bopd between now and Xmas

Stating the obvious but there can be different ways that each party benefit in a JV.

COPl / JVP don’t have to benefit in the same way on day 1 compared to day 500 because as the companies/fields progress the benefits to COPl can alter.

This is why the CC aspect is such a curve ball on determining what it could mean to the JV. All I know is that it’s not a negative to the JV :)

Was not a criticism Shaa. I think for me the real variable that makes the questions much harder to answer is the CC element.

If everyone knew the answer to them questions they would be putting their house on it or just a small loan.

Another irrelevant update alert, I can sell in 250k blocks now and no longer NT.

On the production numbers I would be shocked if there was not a drop in July for commissioning, the august a step in the right direction, with decent incremental increases from sept onwards as MF pressures are increased. Happy to be be wrong with July / Augusts. That assumes they finished the GGS at end of July.

The best aspect of the rise back up is the volume traded each day as it’s not an artificial spike, it’s a genuine move back.

Ok pilot, great at telling people what won’t happen so give your predictions, your timeline, and your reasoning
