That’s the dream RNS and exactly what I want because it gives some time normally to do some simple calcs to make sure you understand the news.

Overall the disconnect is currently huge and for some this has the potential to be life changing. If you’re playing if the wrong way and the music stops, because you were never the one controlling the music it could also be life changing.

The potential is there, the disconnect even ignoring a JV is significant, so my view is find the shares with the disconnect and invest, my average is now low and even 10p means my pension does well, 50p and above my retirement age drops massively and my quality of living improves :)

Spot on Stu, find the companies with the value disconnect as there is usually a disconnect for a reason. Here it’s financial mechanics and as soon as that stops the disconnect reduces without the company doing anything. Couple that to production increase and a JV and the disconnect could vanish very quickly one day.

FF, can you confirm which ones of them were listed as I don’t think people where trying to find examples of where “Dave’s Fish and Chip Emporium” had gone from being personally valued at £5k and ended up at £50k after a year due to its grand location and Dave’s guess at his value. So comparing multi bagging listed companies against data for all U.K. companies, that ain’t listed, seems nonsense to be state the obvious.

Tilburn, your u wavering support, knowledge, and posts are great and I would say I agree with 90% of it.

What we need COPL to now do is come out with the news streams that will close, what I consider to be, the huge disconnect between what the current market cap of COPL and what it should/could be.

I think the huge disconnect is actually the reason for people disbelieving what could happen to the SP. My personal opinion is the disconnect is down to financial games being played out but time will tell.

If we are still at a market cap of 13m in 2024 I would be very disappointed, but I likely said something similar about the company in 2023 as well.

I am sure it will mean nothing in general but just checked and significant volume outlier with it being the 3/4 largest day ever. Really hard to tell in the chart granularity I have but the largest day ever seemed to come before a significant rise and other days comparable with the CAD volume today could be similar but I think 1 was after a larger rise so was no doubt a lot of selling.

Eazy, what’s the buy to sell ratio as it seems at the moment we just have large amount of shares going back and forth in small amounts to keep some volume and interest and then it makes a move where it induces more buying/selling from PI’s and either allows for a dispose of a certain amount into the PI base or the movement allows shares to be removed from the PI base.

Can I ask about the earnings call and a Q and A session. Is the assumption this is happening based on the fact someone said they have spoke to Cathy? I don’t disbelieve anyone but is there anything concrete saying this is happening?

market is not controlled by pi’s here it’s the bond holders and the company is already priced at bargain basement on fundamentals so analysing a reaction after 5-10mins on that rns is like ******* in the wind.

That’s my take away, I think I made the mistake of assuming as injection started in October that meant the 1st of October so I was expecting a decent reaction after 5/6 weeks but it’s been 3-4. My fault for making assumptions :)

I would like them to commit to announcing via an RNS when the impact is being seen though, but alas that takes comms so historically I won’t hold my breath lol.

The SP is where is is mainly due to financial mechanics and due to being priced to fail. If that 30m last night was the end of short term financial mechanics it could provide some uplift to the SP but that update certainly won’t provide an uplift of the mechanics are still playing out lol

After a quick read through it back to sleep, as the injection started later than I expected (mid oct not start of oct)

Data provided without detail gives no indication of progress in the first few weeks of injection other than the headline average bopd, which indicates its stable, but without detail on well uptime / shut ins the information provides nothing.

Safe to say though unless the U.K. update has some thing more inspiring then COPL will continue to be priced to fail, or at least priced that funding will be needed in 5 months, which is the reason the sp is where it is.

Only comment of note is they will provide forward looking production guidance within 2023.

Carmzy, I get the sentiment but to suggest it’s nothing but good news is a stretch too far. My suggestion is to date most news has been bad as it’s been on the financial side, now let’s see if they can present the good news that should follow this less than easy time for COPL

Eazy, if it is not over 1200bopd then it will need a decent explanation on why given the time they have been injecting now. My hope is that there is a decent explanation on progress to date and forward looking information on what can happen in the next few months.

Phew, just in time to stop any rise we have the usual 1.85, 1.80, and sub 1.8 sells!!! Be interesting what’s happens when they all stop playing the financial games .

Eazy, fully agree with you on the assumption that swift bopd increases should be possible. I don’t think I agree with trans on very much at all but the CEO did state an average of 2000 bopd in 2024 as a target. Now I think that’s a ridiculous low target and if we are not either close to it or over by the end of Jan I would be shocked/upset but the wording he used in the RNS has bugged me since it was released as again it’s providing a negative outlook.

The next 1-3 months needs COPL management to really step up to the plate and deliver some positive and aggressive forward looking plans rather than everyone on here reading something in to Cathy’s words, which assumes they were her words (I don’t doubt they are based on the poster but still it’s not how COPL need to function moving forward).

We are all adults, show us the progress (positive and negative), show us the ambitions, and show us some leadership that considers the PI going forward.

Based on trading what’s the betting there is a bond interest payment based on the VWAP incoming before Wednesday.

Stas, everyone’s view is allowed and your opinion from myside has some validity in how I perceive the situation. Some comments that were made by the CEO, some presentations by COPl, suggesting what should be possible have to date been inaccurate.

My view is the GGS should now start to provide the route forward and is key, but we are still sitting at a low bopd by end of this year my questioning would get louder.
