I was bullish on the bopd as well but recent communication within the RNA has dampened that a little.

I really hope you are right but suggesting over 2700bopd within weeks is a tad optimistic, I was expecting 2000-2400 bopd by year end but subsequently would be happy with close to 2000bopd by year end to start with. Until I see numbers from the company or logged by the usual routes I won’t assume anything other than hope 2000bopd is not something we are waiting phase 2 of GGS system upgrades to deliver.

On a positive note, it now feels like the SP has reached a point where playing games is harder as basically if it’s your ball and you continue to make the rules at some stage no one wants to play anymore.

I felt a change start of last week, then a revert to the norm and not feels like a Mexican stand off as it’s pushed PI’s to the limit and new money is fed up of entering on regular basis.

Again time will tell so we will see.

Eazy, will be nice to get a positive data driven update on something soon on either JV or Production as any positive views are extrapolated from know statements where as negative news is typically in official RNA’s so will be nice to reverse that.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the next 3-4 week. The price action seemed to alter last week but Thursday / Friday was more of the same and they mentioned they had finished on the Thursday. Let’s see if the news halts some short term trading at this range and it gets back to 2.6- 5p levels, which might be as much as we can expect until there is hard evidence the financial shenanigans have finished and production on the rise.

Llywelyn, I agree in principle but there is some prior movement in SP if some of the financial mechanics stop for awhile, so I don’t see why the SP can’t be around the 3.5-5.0p mark whilst the production improvements and JV news are pending.

Bob, don’t guess just wait and see what the future holds. Value always outs, but with COPL I have given up guessing based on the last RNA mentioning 1200 and 2000bopd.

I actually forget sometimes a LOI was signed and the GGS is up and running lol.

Lack of posting, average volume, and no large trades so I wonder if the worm has turned today.

From the RNS I doubt there will be any statements from the new CEO other than if a JV or another event occurs.

My disappointment from the RNA the other day was the 2000bopd average in 2024. This was either a good way of showing break even or they really don’t know how to get the oil out of the ground yet.

My expectation was 2000-2400bopd by year end so i do hope it was a way of demonstrating break even. Although we already know sept production and start of oct are not going to set the world alight so if there is no company announcement on bopd, we will be looking to find out improvements in maybe DEC / JAN when announced through the normal routes.

Looks like still some financial mechanics to play out by a few, but the worm will turn and I have mentioned it before the people who are don’t have the knowledge of when it will turn and are betting in the wrong direction, will do far worse than the recent drop from 4p to 2p

As for posts about RNS tomorrow and it’s good, Monday it’s bad or Sunday it’s a miracle and every other assumption under the sun is

F1, that’s my view or at least not in its current setup. Feels like a big game of 3D chess playing out. BH are supportive as they know what’s been aimed at for the end game, but equally don’t want to lose money on the way hence the financial mechanics are playing out.

If people are able to understand that financial mechanics, company performance and SP can be disconnected it makes it easier to not get so emotional.

Forum is dreadful yes but what does not change is the fact that even if you assume production stays the same the jump in revenue for COPL based on POO alone over a year is impressive, which alone makes a mockery of the price action. That action is happening due to financial mechanics and not related to what the company is doing (assuming they don’t announce GGS has failed and they are producing 123 bopd :))

Let the financial mechanics play out and then see what COPL does.

Be nice if the JV happened soon to stop the financial aspects quicker but I am certainly looking forward to when they do, or to understand why I am wrong.

Find shares where there is a disconnect, understand why there is a disconnect, and if you feel the disconnect can be solved then that’s the shares to invest in.

Thanks for the in-depth analysis Eurofil. I think you were predicting 1p when it was 1.5p and instead it wen to just under 5 so if your back then great news.

Doing the maths is very interesting:)

Work out the revenue for when we had trouble paying the bills with 1100 bopd @ say 72poo and then go for a very low 1750 bopd @ say 90poo and that translates to a revenue increase of around are market cap!

Let’s get some signs of the production increases and we can confirm we are on the right road.

Once the music stops with COPL and everyone has taken a seat I suspect the SP will react quick.

Juicy fruit, it’s sane if the current value is lower than what it should be when it’s about to enter the final straight for production.

if i was the new ceo and people emailed me using the same language as seen on here and presented various accusations along with telling me i am a non existent ceo having been in charge for a few days i would not respond either.

surely investing is simple if you are invested and you think a company is **** and the sp won’t go up then you sell regardless of the existing loses or gains and if you think the opposite you hold or buy more, because of than them choices your options are limited.

copla if you have enough money invested to warrant trying to fly a drone over a well and using some video footage to determine your next more then you would be able to talk to people in the company if engaged in the right way.

There is no delay in increasing pressures after the GGS, if you read previous RNA messages they stated sometime ago pressures would start to be increased after august not during august so all is on track from what I can read.

As usual with COPL juts wait for the facts, like it or hate it since the poor finance announcement earlier this year COPL have actually started to do what they said they would and hitting targets, which are confirmed in RNA announcements and not discussed over a kitchen worktop, where almost nothing that was suggested ever came true.

I am in the camp that COPL should be a very different animal in a short space of time
