No matter if NA business sold or not. This is a solid company with growing revenue spending money for further growth and operating margin will soon follow. Sit back and relax.
“Is not” as investor. May be later to organise and run the trains. Why they need to sell NA business? Why at this stage they need money when they have secured the bond? Debt is almost same as it was is 2019. 50M cost savings, new contract, fare increase is enough to keep going until 2028 and may be beyond. NA business is in profit despite the fact contract just renewed in September. Inflation is in downward. Interest rates in worst case scenario other 25-50 bps.
I can’t see anything which state otherwise. Just the SP which is being manipulated. I can bet if we secure 1.7 b for NA business even then this share will not go upwards automatically. Must be a consortium who is hitting this hard. This cannot be done alone by shorts which are nominal.

EBIT 175-185M, paynig 75 M interest this year, cost effecting measure will save 50M. SP 60p what else you want?
By the way NA business is not a loss making business, And profitability will be better soon. This is a solid business ,believe me those who pay unsecured 50M will pay for NA as well and most of the money will go to cross channel railway rather than paying debt. Debt is not at all a big problem .Let this transition done.
What is the duty of the board? Day to day management of the company. Where board is lacking behind? Ok we don’t understand the worth of the company and SP is going down.

Board is doing well. Refinanced the bond, contract won, increased revenue and lower gearing. It can be just the inner game to get control over the company.

Growing revenue, retained contract, falling inflation, selling NA business at reasonable price. Have they forget to manage the business? It’s not a one man show.

Sit back and relax, the tone of the trading update was wrong. But why this happened? Market was demanding that the dividend is not well covered . So they cancelled it.
Still 185- 175 Ebit which is not bad at all in these circumstances. NA school bus disposal timing is very important. They hired drivers, reinstated route, won new contracts, 97% contract retained, bond issued of unsecured amount at very fairly value. Now they put the NA school buss business on sale. Clear message that this is not a forced sale and the buyer will get good return of their investment. Pandemic left behind but panic is still with us. Remember they said we will bring covenants gearing with in 1.5 to 2. And rather than NA buss it is better to run cross channel rail. More cost efficient and probably more profitable. Wait until March and you will find the value of your investment. Directors are either dry stupid or very intelligent and know how to manoeuvre through. And I believe they know what they are doing.
Yesterday announcement came confirmed cross channel rail news. Today RNS came as surprise. No dividend( means reduction to debt) 185M EBIT ( Not bad at all), revenue growth, selling of NA business. Why? Deleveraging and better opportunities. Evloyn knows about better opportunities.
Now forget the div, and reduction of 25-30 M EBIT. Question only is what is the worth of NA school business? And how big is this? What chunks of profit it provided last year. 30% reduction not justified here. Hope shorts took the advantage.
Why not? If any of them is acting as a director of Mobico and have interest he just needs to disclose his interest. Rest will be decided by the board And he may be will not allow to vote or count in the quorum.

This is neither a failing business nor management is incapable. This is not a charity business as well. which will run on no profit no loss basis. Keep calm and wait for May 2025. Soon time will , let us all know how much profit is there without Covid grants.

Is that to understand this is not a charity company and any amount of net profit above just 70M from 3.2B revenue would be enough to see 1.50 SP.
