Hybrid bond is down another 7%. An opportunity to buy back at low rate. I don’t know why hybrid bond is trading so low. A fear of default or a deliberate move.🤔

Is there any particular reason why it’s trading below 60 again?

It depends time of the day and how many seats left and that’s fluctuates the price.

Firepower I honestly state that I bought at 26p I am still in profit and waiting for more . I bought it again and I am very optimistic I’m next 2 years my amount would be triple or more. I can tell you so many other companies who are almost as down as mobico. I am confident it will rebound strongly in next year.

KG invest, the tone of the management was very convincing. They have clear ideas about hybrid and they know well about German outcomes. I believe they require 250M for first call. (Correct me if I am wrong ) instead 500M.

What I listen that the German PTAs given guarantee and it would resolve in months. Including some amount related to previous provisions.

Last chance in my opinion, German solution has been guaranteed, UK bus expanding, UK coach is being integrated with Alsa. Free cash flow confirmed to recover. Revenue increasing Alsa is leading and We drive you is expanding in USA. 180-195M OP profit. Top end if We drive you perform accordingly lower end in other case. 2.5 gearing .

John33 , interest was 5.5% before it comes down to .5 in 2009. Mobico is right in place to service debt and grow.

I don’t see this going above £1.50 before end of 2027. Although, Management sounds pretty good. They are in control and knows where they are heading. Meanwhile sit back and relaxe debt was about 1.2B in 2019 and almost same in the range before. It’s a cash generated business.

SP is down I can understand because it has been targeted by shorts. Why I should sell? I didn’t get a single reason for this. Even I bought here in 25s will sell in 2028. DYOR

Shorts are working hard to get something out of it but the fact is :

Profit is in line

German issue is being resolved ( time given in month) drafts has been exchanged.

Covenant gearing expected 2.5

We Drive you revenue increased profit margin reduced but understandable it is likely to rebound strongly.

Uk bus rates has been increased more than 8%. Not reflecting here. It seems it will be ok with making a bid for Liverpool.

Coach is making connections with Alsa. It means lower cost and better efficiency.

Nothing wrong, this SP is a bonus IMHO and I am hopeful it will recover soon.

1- Alsa Growth

2- Uk turnaround , profit Margin increased due to price rise.

3- positive news or impressions about German railway resolution.

4- growth relating to We Drive U

5- profit to remain within the range stated before.

6- clear path to net debt reduction.

7- Explanation about Hybrid Bond.

I believe that the whole issue was because of underinvestment in the railway sector which deteriorated the situation. National express did not contributed to this but the victim of this problem. I am very sure that issue with PTAs will resolve amicably( if not resolved yet) and National Express will also expand further in Germany. DYOR

So the company is in arbitration process, refused to pay earn out payment and counterclaim the payment previously paid. It means that SFO gives green light regarding the employee’s involvement. Anyone knows how much earn out amount was left to pay and the amount already paid?
