The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Everyone wants the sp to reach £3 or at least £ 2.5 quickly. But this never happens overnight in normal trading. We are at 1.30 because it was COVID. Now slowly and gradually it will be better. Inflation, pay rise , interest rates increase are petty issues. Demand is consistent, air lines are better managed that’s what matters. Wait for 2024 June your investment will be double. No matter you invested in IAG or easyJet or any other. Sit back , relax.
OMG, which allowances they are going to scrap? WDA?
Where you read this?
This is national express not a corner shop dear. We will see in June 2023 when it will trade above 2.50.
I have average of £1.80, question is , who is selling here? Let it come down to even £1. What will happen then? Company is expanding business, winning new contract, recession proof, oil hedged, emerging from pandemic. Half year Eps is about 6p( if I am not wrong) trading at 12PE. How one can stop or downgrade the sp after 2nd week of Jan? 2.50 is rock solid at least . Luck favour the braves it’s buy buy and buy.
I am in the view after carefully analysing its half year report that it can jump 20 to 25% any day and we just need to wait for the triggering event. Which is on the way now.
IAG, which owns British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Aer Lingus, among others, had said previously it expected to return to an overall profit after a two-year crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, without elaborating on individual airlines.
"We foresee all the airlines of the group to make profits again this year," Gallego told an event in Madrid organised by El Economista
Spain offering free train journeys in an effort to combat inflation and rising cost of living
Spain is offering free train journeys until the end of the year in an effort to combat inflation and rising living costs.
Under the initiative, residents and tourists will be able to take journeys less than 186 miles (300km) on local trains and medium-range routes between cities free of charge, The New York Times reported.
Passengers need to register for a travel card, which requires a deposit, to be eligible.
There were early signs that the initiative, that started yesterday, was popular with riders.
Raquel Sanchez, Spain's minister for transportation, mobility and the urban agenda, said nearly 100,000 people had used the free admission in Madrid on Thursday morning, 50% more than "on a day like today" in 2019.
Fares vary across the country, but a single ticket in Madrid costs between 1.70 and 8.70 euros, depending on the distance.
Spain, like many other countries, is battling high inflation: Its inflation rate rose to 10.8% in July, a 38-year-high.
I won’t surprise if some institutions and news paper declare the IAG terrorist organisation or pro Russian. Demand up for travel, cargo, short haul , long haul, strike issue resolved, oil is declining ( some stupid thinks oil should be at 350$ per barrel) commodities declining but as soon as share climb they start crying. IAG has debt no doubt but look at the price. Without debt it would be at £5. Heathrow is unable to cope the demand IAG is cancelling the flights but look at the percentage.
Fasten your seat belts and get ready for the ride up towards the Sky.
Can anyone have information regarding the last trading date to trade Menzies share in the market.
Please comment.
Until 30th March, Wednesday , 17:00.
If it’s done then I will sell my stock for £6.08 each share. If not , I am more than happy and would sell between £8.50 to £10 by March 2024.
What would happen to those who did not sell their shares in the market, if deal confirm by 9th March. How long it will take to get cash in the account? Please comment if anyone know the procedure.
Thanks
