re: Been away for most of the day, just looked in and noticed AM draught has increased from 9 to 10.2 meters.

I seem to remember someone mentioning a few days ago that the draught on AIS is input by a human, manually, so it may just have been updated on AIS rather than just actually changed for real?

Thankyou AD for such a detailed reply, from this BB and the tone of some of the articles I've read it seems there is a bit of a love/hate relationship with the OGA with respect to the Gas flaring, some of the drilling constraints, being hindrances, but some of the support and backing appearing to promote HUR and FB?

This may seem like a silly question, but bear with me...
Will the AM be fuelled up now to last until the first tanker arrives?
If so, might the first "tanker" actually bringing fuel ONTO the AM rather than offloading?

I'm also guessing the AM can't keep everything running from the 38 API and gas from the 2 wells?

The drilling rig requires that its eight anchors and ground chains are pre-laid on the seabed, which will commence on 15 January. The locations of these anchors are given in the Rig List section of the bulletin, with each of chains running in towards the central well location.

I agree with your sentiment, alas mentioning any timescale is probably futile.
Windy.com is showing waves pretty much 3 - 6m for the foreseeable.

After following British motor racing for 40 years, I've realised the mindset of "going out on slicks and waiting for the track to dry out and nick pole position" is ok if you've got mechanics to rebuild a wrecked car overnight. This is more like going up in a hot air balloon...if it's more than 15mph wind, you stay on the ground...week after week if need be.

It's a cliché but I'll use this bad weather delay as opportunity to top up holding at payday/end of Jan...and end of Feb if need be.
