Dr T:
"so what we're targeting for next year 1h next year is to have our reserve base go from its current 2p of 37 million barrels to over a hundred million barrels yeah to be reserve that's the target for 1h next year"
What potential valuation ( and SP) would that give?
Nice work Dive, you beat me and Missdosh!
Yasirami, I share your frustration, nevertheless, I also purchased WMH around that time, mainly for the dividend, and the SP is approx 50% down from then. What would be annoying is seeing a "sell on the news" drop in SP once FOIL is announced.
I do sometimes wonder if "Fractured Basement" is linked with "Fracking" in some PI's heads!
This is a good read anyway:

It'll be like when you're favourite band brings out a new album...
'Most exciting' !

Read to the end, it gets better.
"After a while, CPR's become supefluous, because the results speak for themselves."
Yes, so presumably the dataroom will be of more interest to any potential farm-in/FFD parties?
Would all interested parties usually be given the level of access to the data?
(And if they like what they see...Potentially A CPR may not be needed?)
34.7p
acrossthesea,
"The development with AM" - presume you mean Lancaster to begin with?
Pretty sure Edison valued it at around 39p
"We believe the market is fully valuing a 10-year Lancaster EPS phase (34.7p/share net of debt)"
Sweepstake on the Dr T v Malcy interview...
= how many times will Malcy say "Most exciting" ?
Chesh,
I'm with HL,
Just don't want to get caught with pants down....
"All instructions to Share Exchange and Bed & ISA/SIPP will be placed as soon as practicable."
"When dealing volumes are unusually high there may be a delay"
"delay" seems to be the word of the decade!
Anybody going to Bed & ISA any of their SXX over the next few weeks?
I'd rather take the risk having 2019/20 CGT on my chunk of SXX outside of my ISA, than rush in early April and have them sold and bought back on a day when there's potentially some (good?) news.
Biffa,
Might Dr T/HUR also be performing the 'start-up' sequence to somebody else's specific requirements?
*Somebody with less specialist knowledge, but with a future interest, maybe asking for 'belt and braces' interference data?
"Trice is undaunted, putting the odds the next Lancaster well will have a positive result at 100 percent."

Pretty sure Kerogen will be a bit upset if it's a "scam"
kbo.
AD,
re waffling, yes, maybe he was just reading from his laptop what he'd already written on his blog. He did seem quite resolute about 2 - 4 months for FOIL. Slightly more conservative than Hannam's best case.
Hannam & Partners wrote:
"The company is taking a conservative low risk approach to the commissioning phase. If everything goes to plan is could be as fast as a couple of weeks as it isn’t a complex unit"

Either way, it's in 2019/20 tax year, a few weeks either way isn't going to be the end of the world.
Still thinking about the 6-12 months Lancaster data, eg if it's good news re bottom hole pressure it'll be 6 months? and not quite so good news could mean longer analysis i.e 12 months?

HUR from 16mins
Sounds like he's reading from his notes, and being very careful with what he says.

"Bach Ho the producing fractured basement field in Vietnam is about (from memory) 70m years old, it is quite likely that Lancaster is in fact more porous than the former."
Can I just check whether you meant porous, or permeable? - I'm still learning and want to check my current understanding. Not intending to be a pedant, honest!
100% agree AD,
1. The flaring 'red herring' could cause fun and games with SP as we also pondered over a couple of days ago.
2. AGM...FOIL, or.........first offload maybe? - AGM would be an apposite PR platform to announce it.
Also, thinking about the 6-12 months of data from the wells:
Would 6 months be the better outcome, eg...it's plateaued for 6 months? Nothing to see here...as you were...happy days.
12 months would be the worse outcome, as they're checking any decline (an unlikely case having read CPR/Hur Presentations)
I'm not an oilman, would be interested from any who are..
ATB,
LS.
The geezer isn't even an O&G writer, these helmets are borderline libellous. IMO Malcy is managing expectations downwards after the 21-22 day mistake written elsewhere.
The cynic in me is convinced FOIL will be before the AGM..
The company has not provided guidance on how long this process is expected to take, a sensible move given the wide range in timing seen across other projects. Other recent developments on the UK continental shelf could provide a couple of bookends – they could be ‘Catcher short’, at a couple of months, or ‘Kraken long’, at double that. I suspect it will be somewhere between the two. The company has clarified that the 20-22 days referred to by Jay Cresswell in a recent Energy Voice article relates to bringing individual wells onstream and is effectively part of the commissioning process. By definition, commissioning cannot be shorter than this.
Clickbait writing numpty.
