Hello Fido,
Kuat not liking Kumkuat, one of my favourite fruits ? Our Kuat or should i say his family are the majority stakeholders in this game. He and his leadership team have misled the investor base on numerous occasions. People blame our Carver, he's only the messenger. There have been so many fibs re the state of the deep wells, all the way back to 2014 when A5 discovery made, well actually it's not a discovery as it hasn't flowed.
In addition, Kuat has bought the rigs from his mate Mr K who's dumped the stock, purchased 3AB for a princely sum, added the CE for another chunk of shares. One good thing, he hasn't diluted it to death via the Placing route but he has dumped a load of assets in the company to do it another way. Another good thing, Caspian is his vehicle to better things and going Private or selling it are last resort actions, hopefully we never go there.
Maybe our KO and co have been playing a game and not been honest with the regulatory authorities and the wells are all lined up like little ducks ? You could argue that it's plausible due to the oil prices and the % sold to the domestic market but it's been going on for 6 years plus so very, very un likely.
The deeps are a c*ck up and a very expensive one at $70m+ sunk to date. I still hold out for A5 but that's not flowing now, neither is anything else. As stated many times, they need to resolve the BNG charge favourably, get SY back on line, build revenues from the MJF shallows, rent Boaty, drill the Devonian, spud a well on 3AB. The deeps can be mothballed apart from A5 where remedial/side-track no 4 continues in the hope of eventual success.
Happy to be miles off base and it's flowing deeps and success all the way but we all know that's a load of baloney.
