Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Saw it Friday, was ok….could do well - similar type & level of film as kong vs Godzilla. Actually nice to go see something that I saw a trailer for last time I was there (Spider-Man)

Not sure what to make of that article, seemed to have little to say, more a confirmation of everything we already know.
Are we missing something? They obviously think there’s value in shorting us…..I was thinking we should have at least a 6 months of recovery and I hoped that would be reflected in the sp.

Currently know one is filtered, I know I should but as Wellington said a couple of days ago, just pages of green coffins. Made me laugh. The board quality has dipped along with our SP.
Hope the REAL LTH’ are all good (you know who you are xx)

Rule no. 4 Cold potatoes ain’t hot!!!
Giantsquid - I don’t like you or agree with anything you have to say…..just an FYI
I’m still an LTH and that won’t change for a long time….unless we have a mad rally back to 1.20+ at which point you won’t see me for dust.
Just letting off my frustration steam guys. I still believe.

At this point Funinvestor I’d welcome the sp rise and the value from the new shares to allow me to bail…..I’ve hated being forced to hold cineworld for as long as I have due to mental covid governance, a mental Canadian judge, an uncommunicative board and a priority list putting Mooky & families interests before all others. They maybe able to wait for several years to preserve their control but I can’t / never wanted to anyway.
That’s what’s going on, a slow but definite bleed of trust which leads to impatience and frustration, which I am both.
Yeah of course your automatic response will be if you don’t like it you know where the door is….your right…but I refuse to bail until it recovers or I run out of time. Until then I reserve my right to wine all I want.

Mrstu82 - 100% agree, would be nice if he also outlined the shares existing holder of cine would get, even an expected value of the new regal shares…..i can’t think of a reason to keep this information secret. It’s been announced as a direction already so go ahead a share the progress.
Cineworld never misses the opportunity to take a big run up…..just to kick you in the balls!!!

If Cineworld floats Regal in the US what kind of Mcap do we think is realistic? Cinemark is 1.88b atm. Would 2.5b be realistic? Under / over valued? Be interested in the BB’s various opinions.
GLA LTH’s
I think it’s more likely and probably very probable that regal will be floated as a subsidiary to cineworld on the us markets, with all current share holders being given a piece….bring it on!!!! It’s worth several billion on its own. Hurry up Mooky
FFS Cineworld……
This is doing my head in.

Cineworld has plenty of cash on hand, see the last accounts, see the recovery in business over H2 2021. I have a funny feeling Cineworld are trying to find an easy source of a lump of cash that effectively has no impact on normal operations, why? I think it’s possible that there is a deal in principle with cineplex and we are now trying to find the cash to get it done asap.
Just a thought, I can’t see us actually struggling for cash when you take the above into account & having a speculative stab at understanding what they are up to.
GLA LTH’s
Our current M cap is absurd should be at least double. Triple without the court case.

Before the appeal.
Bonkers I genuinely hope not, I’d love to get anywhere near my exit and bail tbh.
Rus - I invite you to go ahead and read my posting history, I’m definitely not short.
GLA LTH’s
I’m just trying to understand why “cinema” not just us is having a poor month sp wise. That’s all. I hope your right and we see an improved SP sometime soon.
Have a great day.

Lat - my point was more that the sheer number of releases are way lower than previous. Per release we are at 2019 levels, in essence we have recovered but haven’t got the product to put bums on seats.
Side note, I wonder how many of the new shorts are a bet against a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian situation.
GLA LTH’s
Forgot to add my perceived biggest threat, not enough content from studios!!! January has been weak and I can’t help thinking it’s purely down to there being not a lot of films being released.
