Whilst not currently invested I was when the last meeting was held and like others remember the forum members who were kind enough to attend and report from said meeting. From memory and IMO the board were and still are misleading everyone, I think all of this turmoil, horrifying SP action C11 etc is a massive s*** or bust move by the BOD to either mug off Cineplex and or take the co private. I never did have much faith in the Board to communicate in good faith and that feeling only solidified over the period of my holding.

What has happening here is horrific and I wish all the LTH all the best, I hope the old gang is well.

Babs has a lot to answer for imo, it’s arguable that we wouldn’t be in this position if she did her job….instead cine has had to operate with ring fenced budgets everywhere. Not ideal.

Yeah bailed @ 0.299, the unofficial plan was to actually get back in at a lower price so could increase my share total, was upset that I missed the 16.?? A couple of weeks ago, but ho hum.

With the benefit of hindsight all the rns’ for the last 12 months have been increasingly misleading.

Mooky himself lies to mountainous’ face a couple of months ago, I’m outraged at the lack of integrity by the BOD. This hasn’t just crept up in them, it would have been a talking point at the time.

I can’t remember who it was but there was a thread about Israel wanting to take Cine private…..if that happens at the PI’s expense there should be some kind of legal recourse, right!!!???

I lost £64k of my life savings on cine, as a basic recovery play. If you lost hard as well your not alone.

Mountainous - astute as ever mate, was weighing heavily on my mind.

As I say it’s not if it’s when the sp recovers, I’ve held as long as I could but enough is enough. Perhaps if the board was more communicable my stress levels would never peak but I feel they have been getting to silly high levels lately and there’s in my mind (only my mind) no end in sight.

My patience has expired and I’ve sold out, I’ve lost approx 80% (no need to be exact when it’s that bad) I’m gutted and won’t invest anywhere else, mostly because I have nothing left to invest.

I believe if you have the time to hold I have no doubt you will be rewarded, but I just have to move on, I find that it’s weighing on my mind 24/7 and I feel embarrassed and feel the need to hide my “mistake” from friends etc……basically it’s a ME thing not a cine thing.

Apart from the obvious reasons Cineworld will recover you can be sure that now I’m out it will turn the corner.

To all the long time holders I’ve chatted with and supported / been supported by, I say good luck & thank you.

Get well soon mate, like you I’ve swerved it to date and plan on continue to exist on a serpentine trajectory to permanently avoid it. I’m part of the ONS observation study and have been since April 2020, never tested positive.

I can’t believe the measures they are taking have anything to do with science as there literally is half a world ms worth of data that says they are over reacting. I don’t really know what they are up to but obviously for the Chinese first hope they pack it in asap.

IanHarding - you were mentioning Mooky will be buying 8% of the company but he has to wait, do you or does anyone else know when he will be able to buy those back? It’s possible as you state that our sp is being held here for him to buy back cheaply.
