The problem with that strategy giantsquid is that you’ll never get in “cheap” with no risk. If we win the appeal tomorrow our SP would more than double imo.

Also as invested people we are sensitive on days like these to back seat, 20/20 hindsight investment advice.

Just a thought, today when the negative posts were at their maximum shorts were reduced substantially, at the close + 1 hour or so the posting stopped, like it was time to go home or something….. There are a few fud posters persisting, possibly on the graveyard shift. Tomorrow and for a week or so i expect these posters to persist….my point is that given today’s example, it could be seen as a good sign that shorts are closing and getting out of our way.

Just a thought & IMO of course.

As perverse as it sounds, an increase in omicron cases could (god willing) be a good thing, it will provide first hand data from which to extrapolate accurate model’s.

As I said, if this was a legitimate threat we would already be in lockdown.

Jamison - of course I know that’s how all other variant have behaved, however in the case of omicron, that’s incorrect. Which if your applying delta / alpha habits to omicron makes you incorrect. Jamison - your plain wrong imo, cases can you whatever, as long as the hospitalisation & death rates remain stable or reduce. Yes cases are beginning to go bananas but death rates are dropping and the hospitalisation rates are rising, I suspect those are delta infections, the quicker omicron replaces it the better imo. The treasury can’t afford furlough, the PM can’t afford lockdown, it won’t happen for those reasons, on top of the main reason being - if the variant was a legitimate threat we would already be in lockdown.
